See the order of events immediately preceding it:
- God proclaims the gospel to them
- in response, Adam gives his wife a new name, saying, though she is dead she will live
- God sheds blood and covers them
- God says BEHOLD!! Adam has become like one of us
Where else in the Bible do we see someone declaring the dead to have life, and giving them a new name and new robes?
to answer your question Adam received salvation because of his faith, believing in his heart and confessing it with his mouth.

These are simplistic and basic answers. I could elaborate but do not feel the need to.
These are reasons for one objective only which is, number 1 identifies why the law is given but not in full. As you've said in the bases of existing sin is it given and not including preventing sin.
First reason you quote number 1
An objective of the law is not because someone inability to fulfill it.
2 the objective of the law is to prevent sin. You missed that part out
3 The objective of the is law not given to establish God's mercy. Why well God does not have to prove his mercy
4 the objective of the law is not to establish how perfect God is. Why well God does not have to prove how perfect he is.

1 for justice
2 for order and stability.
3 for protection of rights and liberties.

You completely missed everything I listed.
The Law is a self examination.
It's about understanding who and what a person is to realize how much they need God.
Like I said, you don't know much about it.
The law is an examination for those willing to learn it
But this not a main an objective of the law.
Because not everyone can learn it's full to begin with.
The main objective of the law is to protect innocence, so now I'm asking why did God want to protect innocence
so here is one of many questions regarding protection of innocence.
Now this is in the bible.
Righteousness protects the innocent; wickedness is the downfall of sinners.
Now what I need you to examine is what protects the sinners
There's only 1 time in every persons life where they are innocent before being saved. Jesus said we must believe what He claims He is. From birth until possibly the age of 4 or 5 you will not understand what this means. And no one can make a decision on believing in Jesus until they are able to understand what that means. But once a person reaches the age where they understand, they become accountable.
Children are still sinners so why are they being protected by law.
Well the obvious answer is because there innocent.
So now lets take the state into mind. They are still born in a fallen state like Adam and eve became but yet there innocent.
So why did God protect Adam and eve with the law

why is Eve not included?
it was Satan, not God, who told Woman she would become like God by eating of the forbidden tree.
do you believe he was telling the truth?
or deceiving her?
is it so, that committing sin makes a person like God?
Genesis 3 isn't simple.
who is "us"?
what "good"?
what "evil"?
when has Satan ever told the truth?

The children I speak about do not understand why someone should believe in Jesus or not. There's no accountability until one is of age to know.
