Did Biden lie when he said no one making less than 400,000 will have their taxes increased?

It seems incredible to me that Biden could look us in the face and tell us this if it isn't true.

Don't get me wrong, I know that politicians and government officials lie to us. They tell us Epstein committed suicide or McAfee committed suicide or Biden won the election. But to lie about this, you know that taxpayers care about this.

And they told us COVID came from a wetmarket, that Conservatives are all terrorists, that Ivermectin doesn’t work and that HCQ doesn’t work. That was to win the election. We all know politics is dirty. But could they really be lying about taxes?

They have told us some real whoppers like Biden doesn’t have dementia, the jab isn’t making anyone ill, Fauci was consistent, Masks work and there won't be COVID passports.

And yes they said Cuomo didn’t kill old people, but all murderers lie, Dominion systems were secure but all companies lie, Hunter Biden is an artist, Trump colluded with Russia and Jan 06 was an insurrection.

I get it, they have lied to us in the past, but would they lie about raising taxes? Transwomen should compete with women, BLM is mostly peaceful, Trump had a pee pee tape. Come on man, these lies were just to raise ratings. No one watches women's sports, or CNN.

Antifa is an idea, Advanced coursework is racist, 1619 is real history, Hunter Laptop wasn’t real, Trump caused asian hate, White rage is the problem, CRT isn’t poisonous, All white people are racist. These are all "white lies".

A water pipe in ATL stopped the count (how were they to know there was a video tape), Juicy Smollet was attacked (just trying to advance his career), China travel ban was racist, Words are violence, The military isn’t woke, The FBI is apolitical, Obama didn’t build cages, Iran never got cash pallets. That is just being creative with the truth.

Churches should be closed, The border is under control, Voter ID is racist, Biden is tough on Putin, Blasey Ford was credible, Swalwell isn’t compromised, Kids should get the jab, Teachers had it the worst, China managed COVID well, WHO is an independent body, The Great Reset isn't real, Renting forever is just fine,Bailouts are necessary, Gain of Function wasn't funded, Hunter isn’t incestuous, Double masking is best, Own nothing, be happy, Hillary had 98% chance to win, Melania was an escort.

OK, OK, they like to lie, but we can trust him now, right? A video caused Benghazi, Trump camp wasn't spied on, Hunter was hired on merit, Hands up Don't Shoot happened, AR15s are weapons of war, Bubba Wallace noose was real, Covington Catholic kid is racist, Kyle Rittenhouse is a white supremacist Trump supporter, Jacob Blake was shot because he was black, Pfizer lied about the trials that were done to test the vaccine, they would not mandate the vaccine, they would put a stop to human rights abuses at the border.

IF his lips were moving, he was lying.

On the other hand, given his "mental issues," there is a chance he simply does not realize that their taxes will be raised.

When a Tax Increase is passed by Congress, EVERYDARNONE'S Taxes rise in one way or another.

When the rich gets higher taxes they pass the cost on to the consumer.
I didn't vote for Biden, but I suspect those that did liked his campaign promise to only raise taxes on the rich. I thought this was stupid since the rich can move. I think that we should eliminate corporate taxes and have a sales tax. Then it doesn't matter where they put their headquarters or all the other accounting tricks they use.

Here's how I look at it:

Even if I (a sub-$400,000 earner) am able to keep extra money in my own paycheck, I would still lose buying power. Because one of the consequences of taxing the "rich" into obliviion is the reduction of supply of goods and services.

How completely messed up must the tax system be that the poor think taxing the rich is bad for the poor.

Tax should be based on 2 things:

1. Sales tax. People who buy things pay tax. The poor buy less they pay less tax, the rich buy more they pay more tax. We don't tax investment, we don't tax people starting businesses and hiring people, we don't have corporate tax or income tax. Why is it a "crime" to make money? Tax is just like a parking fine. I pay sales tax because all that tax money goes to the infrastructure necessary to deliver those goods to me and to protect the businesses from thieves, etc.

2. Property tax. If I live in a community and own property I have a vested interest in that community being vibrant and healthy. I want a good school system, I want the various services to work well. I want the library and the park to be maintained. The rich own more property they pay more tax, the poor don't own property they don't pay this tax (though it would be factored into their rent). It is stupid to have to pay for the bus or the subway. It is a major expense in both time and manpower for buses and subways to collect this money. It should be paid for with property tax. If fewer people drive you will save money on fixing the roads, you will save money on air pollution and asthma and your property value will go up. If transportation is free for the poor it makes it easier and more desirable to work there saving money for businesses. There are many ways in which having free public transportation benefits the community while there are also many ways in which charging people for public transportation harms a community. The only exception to this rule is for a community that manufactures cars. I could see why a town with a car manufacturing plant would not want there to be free public transportation.

Another example of stupidity is raising minimum wage. Minimum wage will always be minimum wage, everyone else will adjust their wages accordingly. Instead I would change the minimum wage from an hourly wage to a daily wage.

The problem the poor have is they are given a shift that is 4 hours long. So yes, if they don't take it they are portrayed as lazy, if they do take it they may need someone to watch their kids which costs them, they have to take the bus or train which will cost them, they will wind up buying lunch which will cost them. In NYC you can easily pay $30 just to go to work, get lunch and have someone watch your kids, if minimum wage is $15 an hour you get $60, $20 might go to taxes (in NYC you pay city, state and federal taxes), $30 goes to the cost you run just to go to work, and you are left with $10 and you don't work enough hours to qualify for benefits.

However, if they are required to give you a daily wage of $120 the equation changes dramatically. Government gets $40, you spend $40, and you are left with $40. That is not double, that is four times as much. Plus, you will qualify for benefits. Without raising minimum wage you can more than quadruple the net income to the poor.

When has Biden told the truth? Or the Democrats in general? Every time they say something oh, it is either a perversion off the facts or truth or it is an out right lie.
The general rule to follow is, whatever the Democrats are accusing the right of doing, that is exactly what they are doing. It is the ultimate form of hypocrisy.

People are so jaded it is easy to think Biden is lying

I get it, CBS 60 minutes publicized fake memos about George W. Bush's National Guard duty which is why Dan Rather was forced to resign. Because of this people don't trust the media to tell them the truth.

The polls said Hillary Clinton had a 98% likely win and yet she was soundly defeated. It was one of the reasons so many were unwilling to accept the outcome of that election. Because of this people don't trust these polls.

CNN, MSNBC, CBS, etc all reported false stories about Trump requesting security clearance for his children. UK paper made false claims of Melania being an escort. As a result people don't trust the media and see them biased against Trump.

In 2003 it came out that Jason Blair who worked for the NY Times had made a career out of faking news stories, hence the term "fake news". Operation Mockingbird is a reference to how the CIA has bought up journalists with major news agencies to pass of propaganda as news. Again, supporting the term "fake news".

The Rolling stone article about the rape on the UVA campus in 2014 might have been the beginning of a really troubling trend where this fake news now had a target to divide the country over race. We saw this in the same thing with a story in Brussels that was a hit and run portrayed as a Right Wing hate crime. We had fake news stories about George W. Bush chain mail, fake news about Benghazi, we even had Pulitzer prizes going to journalists for a fake story about an 8 year old heroin addict. Brian Williams lied about an Iraq War helicopter incident leading to the discovery of a long list of his lies.

So I get it. But that doesn't mean Biden is lying when he says his multi trillion dollar plan won't cost anything. I know it sounds incredible, but Psaki gave the buried lead, what the CBO is not accurately calculating is how much the beefed up IRS will be able to seize from Biden's political enemies. Domestic terrorists can have their assets seized and since parents complaining at school board meetings and Donald Trump supporters are being called "domestic terrorists" there are assets of millions of Americans that they can seize to pay for this bill.
