People generally appreciate the freedom of religion, yes.

Psalm 73:21 is cross referenced with Acts 2:37 and Asaph subsequently notes in v.22 "I was senseless and ignorant; I was a beast before you."

And those in acts responded likewise, they acknowledged their own ignorance and it hurt.
They didn't come to this conclusion apart from God pricking their hearts. Not one of those who were saved the day of Pentecost got up and said to themselves...I think I'll get saved today. God drew near, made His presence known, sent a preacher to preach, poured out His Spirit, pricked the hearts of 3,000 people, and added them to the church. This is exactly what Jesus promised when He said...I...not someone else...will build my church...And He had the disciples wait until they were endued with power.
I wonder...God chose Israel out of all the nations of the earth to enter into a special and peculiar relationship with. Anyone have a problem with this. He took a people that didn't exist, made them into a nation and dealt almost exclusively with them. He told Israel it would be ok if they didn't participate? He asked their permission? And no one objects to God's sovereign choosing of Israel in this manner? Yet God decides to create a spiritual humanity in the image of His Son, call it His kingdom, and He suddenly is unable to act sovereignly?
Oh well.

No, the owner's son, because they were his friends, accepted responsibility and made good on all current and future damages, such that, for them, the owner was/would be fully compensated, and permanently indemnified. Not so for those not his friends. They demanded to make full payment themselves for any/all damages that would ever occur. Much to their shock and surprise, as it turned out, they were unable to do so because the cost went far beyond their ability to pay - the damages were far greater than a broken teacup.
My story ends with the man laughing at the absurdity of the shop owner, and then the shop owner, no longer able to keep straight face, laughs too, and says, "Just kidding, but I'd like to give you a brand-new pair of eyes if you'll take them. But if not, you can keep your old pair of glasses..." and then the man looks at the shop owner incredulously and demand he quit wasting his time and retrieve his glasses if you please!"

He took Abraham and made him the father of many nations. He wasn't playing duck duck goose when He touched Abram. He chose him as an example the potential of those who believe God, by faith.

When you read the full story it's like the Bully who beats up people and then while they're dying and in order to save himself from getting into trouble begins helping the people he beat up. And when the story ends wants to appear as the savior of the people.

Even their own doctrinal stories coincides more with the actions of Satan than with God.

Your story is a justification of Jesus, the backdoor, and how He has to consider like you in order to have access to Him, a partial God. That is not in the book.

TULIPers seem to be suffering from Stockholm syndrome. They are falling in love with their imaginary abuser. Of course, God is nothing like the abuser they try to describe in reverent adoring terms.

I can't even find the handle on it to even get a handle on it. I've tried, really, I have.

Yes, for his faith, "...for God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him", the reward for Abraham's faith was uncountable.

Apparently some do not need God at all. They chose themselves, and they circumcised their own hearts and ears!

It's so evil and twisted it's like reading cryptic while feeling simultaneously this can never end as well as they are promoting it.

That God pricked these hearts and they repented and believed, does not mean that all whose hearts God pricked in that crowd repented and believed, nor does it mean that God only pricked the hearts of some in that crowd.

Not only is it in the book, it IS the book.

[Heb 10:7 KJV]
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
[Jhn 6:39 KJV]
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
