No, Jesus' human father was Adam thru Mary.

Mary does NOT beget...a woman 'conceives' that which is deposited in her (Sperm) and has nothing to do with 'begetting or passing it on.....she simply 'completes the process 'started' by man.

I choose to bow my intellect to the revelation of Scripture instead. Gen 3:15 says Jesus' seed came from His mother.
OK.

At least you're not being insulting any more. :)

One day you'll know that the seed that produced Jesus came from the Father.

why are you attacking another denomination?
The deity of Christ is not aog doctrine it is the foundational truth of Christianity. Jesus is God and had no sin. This has nothing to do with anything other then the post position . IF one thinks Jesus had sinned, or did sin, then HE was not perfect . And we are not saved. I'm shocked of those who would argue against the fundamental Biblical Truth. And it is error at the minim and anti-christ teaching .
I used to be shocked by this, but, not any longer. Many professing Christians won't endure sound doctrine, thus these shocking diatribes on here and elsewhere...

Yeshua is the SPOKEN WORD of Yahweh made flesh. He existed from day 1 since He is God.

the words you speak, are they YOU or another person?

Yeshua is the WORD!!

He is WORDs spoken from the mouth of God. therefore, He is God!!

the FATHER is our FATHER, not Yeshua's Father!!

GOD only 'becomes our Father when He 'begets us with His Holy Spirit...not before.Jas 1v18.

Have you ever noticed that you never actually say anything? All you do is talk about how wrong people are.

Do you have anything to contribute to the discussion?

But for the fact the Bible, in all other instances, says the seed comes from the father. Only Jesus' seed comes from His mother.
wrong
you are doing linguist modification as should know if you know greek and Hebrew the english word for seed used is the contextual to each other in Gen 3 :15 and the over shadowing of the Lord in Luke 1:28

Have a look at 1Joh 3v9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, for 'his seed remains in him; and he can not sin because he is born (begotten) of God.

If 'begetting takes place by a MAN (including God) and Jesus was NOT begotten that way then He can hardly be 'like us in every way and die for us ???
LOOK at Heb ch 1 & 2 GOD definitely BEGAT HIS SON.

I don't understand your point. GOD was prophesying the coming of Jesus, i.e., the woman's seed.
the idea that Jesus and the word seed in context to women and the context of sinful nature from the seed of man are not the same .

seed in gen 3:15 offspring by way of birth which you see in the next chapter when Adam KNEW HIS wife and she what? conceived and Bare a child from the relationship with Adam but she too did not understand as she stated she had bare child of the Lord.Cain was not the promised seed or offspring the Lord God said in Chapter 3:15.

When we see the word seed in ten 3:15 and think or take it as the actual seed in context to women having a seed we are wrong. That is not how the Hebrew conceptualizes it . That is word manipulation.

I still don't understand what you're trying to say. The word seed in the bible almost always refers to a man's or a woman's offspring, one generation or thousand generations removed. The woman's seed in Genesis 3:15 wasn't anyone she bore directly, but was Christ who would come much later. Still he was her seed, i.e., offspring.

If you are trying to suggest that Jesus came from the seed of women to establish Jesus had a sinful nature which it seems to be that is not what the bible teaches. Thats all.

The process was actually started by woman. :)

That's DevotedToBible's thing, not mine. Jesus had NO sin nature.

p....,
Stand by..... I fear it will get worse.
Since ...oh...1960's ...many new interpretations have been forthcoming of scriptures. All designed to change and remove the intent of G-d's word. We are reminded..."tickle my ears and tell me what I want to hear".... became in vogue and is alive and well now.

We see it here, in our churches and in individual assertions during discussions.

For the umpteenth time, I never claimed Jesus committed a sin.

It is not manipulation but accepting God's revelation.
