Did Judas ever have the Holy Spirit?

That being the case, Judas too would need holy spirit for that assignment.

Yes he would need the power of the Holy Spirit. Interesting about Judas, in that he is the only apostle that Jesus called 'friend'. This is in the book of Matthew.
