ok...simple question here (or is it) what are the difference in beliefs or doctrines are there between a born again christian and a southern baptist.......was wondering because i will be in the process of starting a new relationship soon with a southern baptist ( i am the born again christian)... i know there's subtle differences but cant seem to figure it out. tried looking it up but its just confusing me.
What is it you are worried about? What does God say in your heart to do? I knkow the Bible says to not be unequally yoked, and truly that is up to the two that are joining togather. I quarantee you all that come together are unequally yoked. You have two differant people brought up somewhat the same, and have each adhewred to bel;iefs that make each comfortable and uncomfortable, so let you each talk together and ask each other is Christ both yours common denominator. Both of you go the Bbile and read a Chapter and both of you telkl each other waht you got out of that reading. You both will have differant angles in seeing what is says, based on your past experiences mixed with what this particular chapter says.
So why not think and hear each other and thus ask God to show you truth and her to do the same. Now That would be equally yoked
But to have a wife as a servant is ludricrous, and unufair, for after it states Wifes be obedient to the husband it says nbot long after that Men love your wifes as God loves the people
So depending on how one sees God loving them is exactly how one will love his wife accordingly.
So if you see God just love you, as God does unconditionally, which is what leads a man to say no unrighteousness, then you will do well.
Now truth to all this whether you date, marry, or whatever you, trouble always follows to beset you and if you are married then it follows both of you trying to start disagreements, and fights through this, so see this verse and stand on the fact of no need to fear because

[h=3]John 16:33[/h]King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]
33 [/SUP]These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Since God has overcome the world proof in the resurrection, and you are in God and God is in you, then guess waht no need to fear anything, listening in your heart what to do here, and not taking on more than you can chew, God is the way to know and avoid many days of trouble, at least not have as much going right instead of left.
Praying this helps as you seek God in your heart to show you the answer and if you make the wrong choice as many have, instead of being angered over it, seek to learn from it, and thus see how deep God does just love us all avoid the thief that came to steal, kill and destroy. because Christ came to give us life and be content in the middle of bad circumstances, knowing that nothing after the cross where life is at in the resurrection, can ever seperate us from God's love and thus we can learn from all things to the glory of God.
