Ok everyone. For those of you who know what's going on today will be the mark of a new paradigm in my life. As of 930 this morning I will be in court to finally end my marriage and mark a new beginning in my life. As disappointing as some of you may find this to be it's been a long road to this point and has been over the last few months leading up to this. I don't seek pity from anyone as what doesn't hurt me only makes me stronger and I can get through all things with Christ who strengthens me. I'm doing much better since this down hill journey began. But to summarize I do ask that you all pray for me this morning that I don't act ill rationally toward anyone as I found out last night some "unexpected guests" are going to be there as well. So please keep me in prayer as me and this individual DO NOT get along and I am looking forward to going on vacation next month. Thank you all and have a good morning. I will let you guys know the outcome later. Pray also that the judge himself makes a decision that is fair to everyone and not impartial. Thank you all and will keep you guys updated when I come home later this morning.

I'll have you in prayer for sure... I've never had to deal with anything like this, and I know some others in here may look down on you for your choice to divorce, but if anyone has read your testimoy, they would understand it a little bit better.

ok...so things didn't go all as planned but i know God will provide as He always does when things aren't the best. I'm officially divorced....but the reverse side of that is there's some unwritten odd law that says I still have to pay child support even though she waived her right to it. Something to do with it being the child's right and not hers or something. So as i said a minute ago...God will provide.

That's true in most states. The laws state your child should get the same financial resources as if
they actually lived with you. The law doesn't permit a parent to over ride the legal rights of a child
to parental support but you would support your child anyway so its a null point in most cases.

I hope things work out. They usually do as long as you keep your eyes on Christ. Just follow
1 Corinthians 7:8-16 as you build your future so it has God's blessing.

I will pray. God bless, pickles

If anything at this point I ask that you guys pray that God will make a way for me to be able to finish out my lease term, pay my bills and keep food on the table. Because this is going to be a very rough time in my life until that happens (The end of my lease agreement). I know he will and I myself have been in prayer on this matter as it does look a bit grimacing (sp) but I know He will provide because He always does.
