Trump being the president for the previous 4 years had nothing to do with "the insurrection", The whole point of the gathering was to protest the suspicious election and denial of a recount. But Trump-haters always blame everything on him. Someone that will get angry over a single-day event that is directed at the people causing the problems but are totally fine with riots that lasted months and cost millions of dollars in damage to their own people aren't really worth reasoning with, imo.

Enough with the smoke screen The BLM riots were a travesty, as was Trump's involvement in the insurrection. One doesn't preclude the other. BOTH sides are equally evil and it's time Christians stopped deciding which sins they will embrace and which sins they will fight. CHOOSING TO STAND FOR THE LESSER EVIL IS STILL A CHOICE TO STAND FOR EVIL. And make no mistake, republicans and democrats are equally evil.

Actually I take that back. Both sides are evil, but the right is more dangerous since they portray themselves as 'the party of God' and are thus deceiving believers who follow them because of that.

There are evil republicans, and there are evil democrats. I will always vote pro-life, small federal government, anti-mass money-wasting, and individual rights. The party that fits that most often just so happens to be republican.

I always thought the rule when you have an incumbent was "did he get us into a war?" If the answer is no, then you ask "Is the economy better now than when he took office"? If the answer is yes then you reelect that person.

Based on that I felt Trump was the guy to elect.

On the flip side I thought the rule was you don't listen to what politicians say, you look at what they do. Based on that I felt you don't vote for Biden.

And you end up supporting un-Biblical doctrines like mammon worship, self-idolatry, deceit and hypocrisy, cheating workers, and the abandonment of the sick and poor.

I SUPPORT NONE OF THE ABOVE.

Choosing the lesser evil is still choosing evil.

It's not just one person. It's anyone who claims to be serving God while doing (and leading others to do) what He said not to do.

I am all for truth and light and justice. Couple of questions though,

1. If Trump is guilty of insurrection why not try him? The Democrats control the two houses and the Presidency, they have control of the DOJ, they impeached him twice, why not try him for insurrection? I know they said they would and then when he said that Nancy Pelosi would be his first witness they balked. Why?

2. At most 1,000 people went into the Capital building and were guilty of trespassing. At least 500,000 were at the rally. That means that 99.8% of those there did not go in. If this was an insurrection why wouldn't half of them or two thirds of them go in?

3. We know that we had FBI informants who were in the group that entered and they knew about this days before and knew about the posts on the internet days before. Trump offered Nancy the use of the National Guard and she turned it down. She didn't have nearly enough police there even though they knew there would be 500,000 based on the people in the hotels and she didn't put up fences. Why? Why did she turn down Trump? Why did she ignore the intelligence? Why did she do such a poor job of protecting the capital?

Look forward to your answer to these three questions.

That's a pretty good way to decide. I did not vote for Biden, but I do still listen to him on occasion for entertainment purposes :LOL:
