Of course, when you were not even an emplyee of that 'big bussiness', the CEO of that 'big business' has nothing to do with you. You have no rights to comment on what the CEO would require his employees to do.
You run your own small enterprise will do.
You could be the CEO of your one man company.
The Catholic Church, the Pope...do not ask you to observe penance on Friday. You are not an employee of that 'BIG BUSINESS'.
So you really believe the Borgia pope was put in place by God to serve in His place? If you want more examples I can post some.
You should read your scriptures especially Job and hope your personal Holy Spirit can guide you well.
God allowed Satan to do evil or corruption to bring about a greater purpose.
The Borgia pope (Alexander VI) was permitted by God, not appointed in righteousness.
Throughout Scripture, God often works through flawed or wicked leaders.
Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 1–4) was called “my servant” by God, even though he was pagan.
Cyrus of Persia (Isaiah 45:1) was “anointed” by God to free the Jews — though he did not know Him.
The Babylonians were evil but they were permitted by GOD to play judgement on Jew fro breaking God's covenant.
That’s a statement, not an instruction. Protestants have not abandoned the truth, just the erroneous interpretation of it.
I do read scripture. I have found nothing about vicars of Christ or Mary's assumption or her being prayed to. Her or any other catholic saints. Perhaps you can post some passages on these? Maybe purgatory and buying your way out as well.
Because you only read your own scriptures that suit your own theology.

Let me show you one in scripture that would suggest a purgatory.
Matthew 5:25-26
Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison. Amen, I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.
Jesus would not be talking about hell, this penalty, can’t refer to consignment to hell, since no one is saved there and would come out from hell. Jesus was suggesting there is a place with cleaning fire which is entirely different from the eternal punishment of the damned.
Wrong. God had full authority to instruct Adam and Eve because He is their Creator.
Similarly, Jesus had full authority to drive out the merchants because He is the Lord of the temple.
In this you are correct... mostly. Calvin did not have authority to punish, but in this he was in error because we are told to spread the gospel among those who don't submit to it, not punish them. Those who claimed to be part of the Church but did not submit to its teaching he could rightfully exclude, but that's not what he was doing.

That's a fallacious comparison. The popes (small "p"!) claim to represent Christ, but don't. They have no God-given authority and the organization they lead is rife with corruption and error.
The president claims to represent the people of the US, and does. One is a faulty claim of authority from above, while the other is a truthful claim of authority from below.
Have you ever searched out the meaning of "vicar"? I suggest you do so.
