Sorry Karlon, but I have a granddaughter who was born with cerebral palsy and is a now a delightful teenager. I love her very much, and she is a joy to be around.
  • She will need help for the rest of her life.
  • Her speech is severely affected.
  • Her muscular co-ordination is such that the least little thing could cause her to fall.
  • She can barely feed herself.
I pray that God has called her to himself. However, I do not believe that means that she has a free pass.
it's very simple: anyone who can not be accountable or responsible for themselves, for whatever reason, rises to heaven at their passing. only a cruel god would send unaccountable people to hell.

But aren't you assuming they don't go to hell?

Firstly, the penalty for sin is death, not the lake of fire and secondly the reason one goes to hell (l.o.f) is for the lack of/wrong type of works. So what works does a new born or still born have that can be judged?

The truth is you don't know. Christ came to save the world from it's sin and this He did, it is finished. No-one answers for their sin anymore, they answer for their response to Christ. "Who do you say I am?" Christ asked. Can you see into the heart of a new or still born and know the answer? Well, God can and He does what is right and just therefore, any parent who has had to suffer the devastating loss of a child, can grieve with hope knowing their child is in the hands of a loving, just and righteous God.

Hey guys, I watched “All Dogs Go to Heaven”. I know it’s just a show but what do y’all think? (I’ve been up late all this week thinking about it). 🙄
Good doggies go to heaven for sure. Not too sure about cats but they probably will go there too.

Im not crazy about a lot of near death experiences, Dr Maurice Rawlings was a cardiologist who encountered people having near death experiences in his office. Then after, they would relate their experiences. He stated that all children had a positive experience and one child relayed that they were playing catch with Jesus. Anyway, it’s a good listen

To the OP Christ said if you were blind you would have no sin. You say you see your sin remains. We that believe in Christ still truly do not see nor understand most of if not all of this for we all see through the same cloudy glass and were going to talk about who goes to (forgive me Father) hell as in stillborn and deceased? Fact the believers I have come across in my 55y in the lord 63y old their truth is based on what they interpret. I know countless that need something from God healing you name it and they stand on Gods word and they never move and He always answers. I know countless that have no faith and cry out to God and He answers.

Point is He loves this word more then all of us on this world. He made it.. all the people He created. Every baby to be born He created. He has never lost He never gives us for He lives the 99 to go after just one. So how do you judge someone about something they know nothing of? Ever time in my life that I thought I knew Him.. He does something and I feel.. wow I don't know Him. .. think.. that will never end.. love.. you never get it all... you never see the end it has none. :( made my self sad.. almost crying.. I want so much to see Him.. well fall in His arms.. and shove John off and my turn! haha

None of us can bring the right comfi
Look, I’m sorry for what has happened to you and in your life to bring up this issue. You’re right, I’m assuming. But sometimes it’s okay to assume, when it relates to God’s character. No. I don’t have a verse that says “unborn children go to Heaven.” You may have already answered this in the previous 11 pages so I’ll just leave it.

Do stillborns and babies go to ‘hell’?

*

Romans 7:8-11. I was alive once without the law when I was a child... I had no understanding of the law as a child and I was sinless because where there is no law, there is no sin. But when I became old enough to understand the law, sin slew me.

John 9:41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of your sin. But now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

Romas 7:7 … I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” 8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. 10 Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came [to me], sin sprang to life and I died.

*

One is born innocent, and remains so, until one reaches the point where they think they know enough to make a decision about sin/God. Being born into sin, means we live in a world that is predisposed to make sure we make the wrong decision about God. Until they understand and decide, babies have no sin to die from.

Thoughts?
I appreciate your mention of John 9:41. I never thought of it in connection with infants.

you changed the subject. we're all born as sinners. if someone is born handicapped & can not in any way, be accountable for themselves, that person goes to heaven at their passing. reason is they are not capable of learning to be saved.
WOW... that is wrong on so many levels.

No, babies and children are innocent and sinless. Ezekiel 18 says…
“The son shall not bear the guilt of the father. (20)….the soul that sins is the one that shall die, (4)…the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.”
Psalm 106:38 says “they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters.” ( they offered their children to idols..)
Jesus used little children as an example of purity and innocence saying tge we need to be converted and become like them because they are of the kingdom of heaven.” That is the same as saying they are “saved.”

Babies arent innocent before the Law and Justice of God, they just guilty sinners. Now as far a National jurisprudence in Israel and human government things are different, people are guilty or innocence according to their crimes

While the topic isn't specifically adressed in the Scriptures,

There is an example I want to show you, you could call it typology. Its about the Israelites who arent allowed into the promised land, here is what God tells Joshua:

Deut 1:38-39
38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

I believe this shows us God's heart on the matter.
