Sine God's word reigns...and is righteous....please explain how you became convinced that baptism was NOT required....what source...denomination...purview?

There is a baptism (immersion) that has taken place in both of these passages. It’s not a physical water immersion. It is this.
“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,”

We are sealed (think immersed) in Christ by the Holy Spirit when we believe. Think about how 1 Peter 3:21 tells us it’s not the putting off of the filth of the flesh.

Our immersion into Christ was made without hands. When one person immerses another into water hands are used.
