Benny Hinn is about the most sought after false prophet and teacher today. Benny Hinn falsely predicted that all the homosexuals in America would die by fire in the late 1990's. Benny Hinn has confessed that there are 9 beings within the Godhead. 3 beings (Tritheism) each having their own trinity of beings within each. Benny Hinn teaches word-faith doctrine. Benny Hinn stated on TBN that after his crusade in South America in 2002, that he was certain that he would return to America with video footage of Jesus appearing on stage during the crusades, because Jesus had told him this was going to happen. Hinn also stated that very soon people would no longer need to take their deceased loved ones to the morgue. Instead, stated Hinn, they should be placed in front of the television during the airing of TBN and they would rise from the dead. We don't have enough paper to list all of the falseness of Hinns ministry.

Looks like the bi-annual Benny Bash is in full swing again. Too bad you cited that particular site, it discredits you in the future.
That said, here is my usual contribution whenever these Benny Hinn posts pop up...

Benny has been shown to be false enough I think. More important than him is the Jesus Culture movement and Hillsong churches/bands. Seductive and enticing. Anyone ever examined what these movements are all about? Seem to have tons of blind followers these days completely ignorant of what is being taught by them at their churches. Jesus Culture is connected to Benny and the Toronoto Blessing and tons of other heretical preachers/movements. Can't go in youtube room here without hearing at least 1 Jesus Culture song at least once an hour though (was like every other song just a few months ago). Only thing about Hillsong is that their music stems from a health and wealth gospel at their churches. Mostly like their music otherwise. And Jesus Culture are just completely off in the deep end. Glory clouds, toking the holy ghost and the whole nine yards. Nothing left out with them. But they have a huge fan base in the Christian community.

Perhaps you should start your own thread on that then.

I don't really zero in on specific sites for all my false teacher needs. If i have a question on someone, or a teaching, i search the internet, check out various sites to see what is said.
I remember checking that site out you gave over 10 years ago and rolling my eyes. Problem with using that site as a resource is that, according to the owner, everything is evil. Except the few preachers he likes, and the one or two genres of music he approves of. Everything else in the world is devil spawned and will send you straight to hell. No credibility in that.
Also he's notorious for misinformation, twisting things and just being flat out wrong about his arguments.

That was awesome, what site do you recommend then?

There are a lot of youtube videos that go over Hinn and people like him and take an objective biblical approach to dissecting their teachings. One series you might be interested in is the strange fire conference. Here is a link to the series on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRqD89ZBWyg&list=PLcpTMSL-FR-duvHk-xYVLOGCQRLnYBNxU

Here is a site I've used several times for research Marks of a cult | signs of a cult| cult practices | cult patterns | Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry

There are other good apologetics sites out there as well.

Like Ugly mentioned about Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven!, I have visited that site too and while some of the information is correct, a lot of it is self-imposed opinion by the author.

Another good practice is to compare the teachings of Hinn against other preachers. I like John MacArthur, Voddie Baucham, Paul Washer, and Conrad Mbewe, just to name a few.

[h=1]Pastor Benny Hinn and Paula White’s adultery?[/h]

Even Pastor’s don’t practice what they preach it seems. Evangelist Benny Hinn recently admitted at a crusade in 2010 in Oakland, Calif., to having a “friendship” with fellow minister Paula White while he’s still married after a tabloid pictured them holding hands in Rome on July 13. But the well-known healing minister says the relationship is over.

“A friendship did develop,” Hinn said of White in Oakland on July 30. “Hear this: No immorality whatsoever. These people out there are making it sound like we had an affair. That’s a lie.”
Hinn invited his daughters Natasha and Eleasha on stage in Oakland and asked the crowd to pray for him, his estranged wife, Suzanne, and their four children. He said he and his wife had problems in their marriage for years and “could no longer exist in the same house.”
Hinn’s wife, Suzanne, filed for divorce in February after the couple had been separated for years, but it has not been finalized.
Hinn aired segments from the Oakland crusade and made additional personal comments on his This Is Your Day program on TBN Aug. 5, the day after his 31st wedding anniversary. A ministry executive said the program will air on other networks this week, including on Daystar Friday.
Hinn told the crowd in Oakland that the Vatican made him a Patron of the Arts and invited him to visit Rome. He said patrons are asked to find donors to help maintain the Vatican’s art collections, and he wanted White to become a donor.
“I let her come with me to Rome so she can donate money,” Hinn said. “That was stupid on my part. And for that I do ask forgiveness.”
The National Enquirer published photos in its Aug. 2 issue of Hinn walking hand-in-hand with White in Rome. The article, which released July 23, claimed the two spent three nights in a five-star hotel Hinn booked under a false name.
Hinn said in Oakland that he and White found “common ground” after she appeared on This Is Your Day in late May. White and her ex-husband, Randy, went through a public divorce in 2007. She now leads the Tampa, Fla., church they founded, Without Walls International Church, and has her own national television show called Paula Today.
He said he and White were never alone in Rome, but claims he ended his friendship with her after the tabloid report was published. “I said, ‘Paula, we can’t even be friends right now.'”
Hinn admitted that he contributed to the demise of his marriage by putting ministry over his family. “I was so busy in the ministry, I was so caught up with the ministry, I forgot about my family,” Hinn said. “That’s probably what broke the whole thing up.”
He said he often preached that ministry comes first, acknowledging that he knew that teaching hurt his children. “You know what? It’s wrong,” he said of the teaching. “I’m here to admit I was wrong because the call of God first should touch the family. If you have no family, you can’t go on anyways.”
Hinn admitted he and his wife had “challenges” but said he didn’t expect her to end the marriage.
“We had troubles for a long time, and I would ask her often, ‘Would you ever divorce me?'” Hinn said. “She said, ‘Never because I fear God too much.’ She said, ‘My covenant is with God, not you.’ And I guess she could no longer handle it. One day she did it to my shock.”
Hinn said it’s painful to talk about his marital problems, noting that he and his wife were separated long before the divorce filing.
“We’ve had to be very quiet to protect the ministry, the work of the Lord,” he said. “But sadly when you are a public person, everything you do becomes public.” “I don’t care how strong you are,” Hinn added. “I don’t care if the anointing of God is mighty on you. Nobody wants to be alone. I don’t care who you are. I am a human being just like you.”Hinn said he is “still focused on the Lord’s work,” adding, “I’m going to go on serving Jesus with all my being, and whatever the future holds, that’s His business.”

In the midst of all the weirdness that is Benny Hinn Ministries, he does manage to proclaim the simple Gospel. I'm sure God has used that as a doorway into His kingdom. So for that we can be thankful, that at least Jesus and the Gospel is proclaimed. I consider much of his theology to be in grave error, as well as his practices.

His teachings and practices are so whacky that the affair is almost irrelevant.

When I watch Benny Hinn sitting in a room with marble floors and other lavish surroundings, and he's telling people to give thousand dollar donations to him and his ministry, I tend to change the channel.

I didn't realize he was still "sought after".

And I sure didn't realize he rated high enough to be in the conspiracy forum.

he's no more a false prophet than any of the false teachers on this site if you ascribe the same standards to him. I am reminded that when we pass judgment we will be judged by the same standard we judge by. Just a side not to the false teachers, ministers, Christians on this site just saying!!

Do Not Judge
(Luke 6:37-42; Romans 14:1-12)
1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

To me, a simple gospel surrounded by Hinn's false teachings plus selling his wares for "donations" equals all being trash. It makes the message of none effect..... The Bible says a little leaven leavens the whole lump.

With the Gospel at least the lump is created. The Holy Spirit can remove the leaven.

6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”

There are a lot of false prophet on this site. False teachers too.

11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even[a]expose them; 12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things become visible when they are[b]exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14 For this reason [c]it says,
“Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you.”

15 Therefore [d]be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,16 [e]making the most of your time, because the days are evil. 17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Mat 16:6 And Jesus said to them, “Watch out and beware of the [a]leaven of thePharisees and Sadducees.”7 They began to discuss this among themselves, saying, “He said that because we did not bring any bread.”8 But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread?9 Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up?10 Orthe seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets full you picked up?11 How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the [b]leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”12 Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

I've often heard of the phrase "eat the meat, & spit out the bones" , referring to false doctrine. This is damnable traditional teaching, for it gives the impression that any christian can do it. Such teaching will destroy the "babes" in Christ, for they don't know the difference. All one has to do is watch the arguments on here to see how many are choking on the bones already.
