Another 50 years? You must not be paying attention to what obama is doing to this country. There has never been a more wicked man with as much power and influence in our country. And if we don't put him in check very soon, we can say in the whole world. Of all the nations to fall in history, none of them come close to the stature of the United States.
The world has a beginning and an end, so to me its just a big illusion, like a movie. in my post i said that i can't imagine what another 50 years would be like, after seeing how horrible the past 50 have been. what is going on in the world, needs to happen, we can't change what is happening. The Word said it is going to happen, so just grab the popcorn and watch the show.
And as father doing the same thing, I would say there are very few things we can do that are more important in the Kingdom of God than raising our kids to know Him.
Well, I wouldn't necessarily say I'm going to just watch the show, but I know what you mean.
The gradual decline of this world is inevitable. It's going to happen, and it will be ugly, and we can't change stop it. And honestly, I could really care less what happens to "the world". That' why I spend very little time concerning myself with our president, politics, conspiracies, etc. God preordained those things to happen, so why should I get consumed by it?
One of the important questions we should be asking though, is who has God placed in my life that He wants me to build up and lead towards Him?
it is much better to just ignore the show, and believe something better is coming for us. don't want to get caught up in the illusion.
Ever since God used Abraham to create a special race for God to use, we have had Hebrew scripture, given to Hebrew men, using Hebrew culture, and Christ was from the Hebrew race, although the goal has always been to make us all one race. So, although there is a special blessing and we are to respect that ethnic race, the one race of God is even called Israel.
Just as Ezra and Nehemiah worked to bring the people back to their original worship of God they lost in Babylon, our preparation needs to bring our people back to pure worship, eliminating traditions. The work has started, there is huge opposition, and as you say, there will be great tribulation.
Do you think maybe these things were for told were going to happen because we are grabbing the popcorn and watching the show?

The bible says we are in the last days, we are certainly not in the first days- that would be before Christ came as the Messiah. But He has come and showed us the way. Only God knows how many days until the very last day. All we know is the more days that go by bring us closer to when that day is. We need to be ready because not only will He come unexpectedly, we could die unexpectedly, and that would be the last day for us individually anyways. When we do die or when Christ does return, whatever state our soul is in at that moment will be sealed for all eternity- it is therefore wise to always be ready.
