Do you celebrate Halloween?

You know Richie, Christmas and Easter are also, Pagan celebrations as well, covered up as Christmas (Christ's birth) and is not Christ's Birth and Easter, the resurrection, that actually worships the Goddess Diana, covered over to oppress the people without their awareness, and suppression is achieved into many, and one wonders my they still get mad in and instant.

I know, But I try not to get involved in paganism and there celebrations. Al I do is remember what Jesus did for me, and thank him. that's good enough for me. People will always try to deny these things are not wrong, but if they took time and actually read into the real truth behind these celebrations, then they may have a different view. But for me, I don't celebrate pagan rubbish. Simple as. But that's me. I try to follow the bible, if it says to celebrate these things I will. If it don't I won't.

Personally, I love Halloween and loved dressing up and going to get candy. To me that's what Halloween is, along with watching horror movies. I don't trick or treat anymore, but I intend to let my kids do so because A) dressing up is fun. B) They get exercise walking around. 3) Free candy. That's my reasons for celebrating it. I could care less for everything else.

This is just me, though. Where I'm at, there's not many church things to go to. We have ghost walks/haunted trails and that, which are fun. I sadly don't have time for it anymore.

Matt, when I think of the fall season I think of FEAST of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, and the Eigth Great Day. Then I think how Satan hates Christ and knows his time is short and we are in the end times. Halloween was fun when I was a kid back in the 1960's but by the 70's things on that night were more and more evil. Now here in the 21st century there are more out of the closet and down right evil folks who do dearly love things of darkness. Halloween is not innocent. It and playing along with it will open dark spirits believing they are invited in. God made it super clear we are not to have dealings with the things of darkness. I wish my parents had convictions as Christians to have sheltered us kids. It certainly is not the way to train up a child. Praise God He has delivered me from darkness and His Word is a light on my path. Now, please pray with me for my daughter's, son-in-laws, and grandchildren who have fun with Halloween. Today my 10 month old grandsons had their bare butts painted as pumpkins and photographed. Surely this is displeasing to God and while I am with them I pray for a safety hedge around them.

Halloween is obvious... no i dont celebrate it, nor any other "holiday" I know is pagan! I used to until I got older and/or found out the truth on these matters.

I don't celebrate anymore but I don't have a problem with people who do.
Unless you're one of those weird people who don't let kids eat candy, there is nothing to worry about. It is a harmless day, that a few people get all foolishly hot and bothered about.

If you're going to tell us something "factual", then it ought to be cited. If you'd bothered to look it up, you'd see that Halloween started as a Christian festival right there in the first minute's reading. Further down you'd get a better understanding.

My Christian parents have always thought of Halloween as evil, because they also never bothered to crack open a reference material, instead getting their information from dubious sources. Speaking of which, what was yours?

I can't anymore it just feels wrong. It just remains wrong with me to try and accept a celebration so... weird and out of balance with what the word of God teaches. Dress up as whatever and imagine you're whatever and behave like this whatever and be gifted for visiting whoever doesn't feel right at all in my stomach anymore and I used to love halloween. Wholeheartedly: Thank You Jesus for changing me.

Happy Reformation Day instead Helloween!!! Be Reformed into Christ's tabor light image! Never one to celebrate death, darkness, murder and fear. I thought Yeshua came to world over come those things. Let me know If I am wrong on this though; I am pretty sure I am not!!!

Years ago I opted to call the Week of Yeshua's Passion, Holy Week because I found the origin of the name, Easter, is from a goddess of fertility. Although I have know this for decades, I Googled it, and the information coincides what I originall obtained from the Encyclopedia Britanica, over 40 years ago. Here is the search result I selected:
