Question, what was it that made the stones a ministration of death?

Here's an example from the SDA teaching you follow.
What does SDA teaching say about the willful sin spoken of in Heb 10:26?
What does SDA teaching say about 1John 3:6 "whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him" and 1John 3:8 "he who sins is of the devil"?

the 'letter of the Law' says, if you are guilty of sin, then the penalty is DEATH -
this is known as the 'curse of the Law' because all have sinned, except for ONE
and He paid that 'death-penalty'.
when the old man dies in Christ through baptism, we are no longer subject to that penalty,
for we are considered dead, that is, our 'fleshly being'.
we are 'dead to the Law' but the Law is not 'dead to us', for the Law is Spiritual -
so, we should walk in the Spirit, as we continually 'crucify the old man' with the lusts thereof....

I just kept saying, and meaning it, amen. You are too young to be so wise. Thanks for the great post....

The law of the Spirit of life has made me free from the law of sin and death that is strengthened by the law. When we read the law that we should not commit adultery we are not under the law concerning this commandment. We are rather under grace through the Spirit of life which keeps us free from the law of sin and death. It is the law of the Spirit of life that have within our earthen vessel that keeps us from transgressing the law of sin and ultimately death. It is through the Spirit of GRACE that sin no longer has to have dominion in the life of the believer and it is not in keeping the law through the flesh. Without the Spirit of life the law will only bring us into sin once again that is why we are under grace and not the law.

Question, what was it that made the stones a ministration of death?
It wasn't the stones themselves...it was what was written and engraved.

Ro 3:19 ¶ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

God Law is Good, spiritual, & Perfect 'psalm 19:7', all beliver in Jesus Christ should love it.

Psalm 37:30-31

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

If we do not love it how can we claim to walk with Him ???

1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

God bless

Yes He walked in love, not legalism...that was the Pharisees!

i love everything about the Almighty.

good then you must agree with this?

Ro 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth

King Solomon had a very good grasp of Yahweh’s standards, but he failed to live by them during the latter part of his life. (1 Kings 4:29, 30; 11:1-6) If we are spiritually-minded, we will see the need not only for knowing what the Bible says but also for obeying God’s law wholeheartedly. That means making a conscientious examination of Yahweh’s standards and diligently endeavoring to follow them. The psalmist had this kind of attitude. He sang: “How I do love your law! All day long it is my concern.” (Psalm 119:97) When we are truly concerned about following God’s law, we are moved to display godly qualities. (Ephesians 5:1, 2) Instead of being helplessly attracted to wrongdoing, we manifest the fruitage of the spirit, and a desire to please Yahweh turns us away from vile “works of the flesh.”—Galatians 5:16, 19-23; Psalm 15:1, 2.

The answer is there for all to see.

Written upon stone there can be no mercy.

Now written in our inward parts and on our hearts, we, following Jesus Christ's Example may always receive and sho mercy.

I am sure you already knew this in your heart. God bless you.

Question, what was it that made the stones a ministration of death?

Well your opinion is very nice but love fulfills the law, not legalism :)

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done
away:

So, according to you, the letter is done away, huh? Well, lets just use the scripture YOU quoted in a previous post, post #230...

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

So, now explain to us, is the tenth Commandment is done away? The letter is done away (according to you) so is it no longer sin to covet?

Please help us understand.

The written law etched into stone has bbeen writen again by God in our inward parts and on our hearts so there is not mistaking it is to be observed lawfully. Now, the only ones who know to do this are thos with it in their inward parts and on their hearts. When we see it in print, by the example of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we know to obey for it has become spiritual, but it is in no way abolished or something finished. So the written word is not dead for we who know our Lord recognize Him when we read ittt. The law is not dead, no He is there within showing us how to live in grace lawfully. When we do falter, He will always pick us up, providing we are sorry and wish to be picked up. Jesus Christ is throughout the law for the law and the prophets are given to be written about Him,.

Exodus 12:49, The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you." Exodus 13:9, This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your for-head that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips. For the Lord brought you out of Egypt with His mighty hand. Exodus 16:34, As the Lord commanded Moses, Aaron put the manna with the tablets of the covenant law, so that it might be preserved.

Well the bible says in absolute terms that love keeps every commandment.....so I don't have to explain anything, you need to believe the bible and ask God for wisdom.

Whats your point Don?

Does not the Manna being together with the Stone Tablets tell us much? They preserve each other..........

preserve each other?

If anything, they show mans sin and how he is guilty. And bring to remembrance just how guilty we are. When God looks on them, he sees our sin that is why the blood must be sprinkled on the mercy seat, to "cover" the guilt we all share.

No JaumeJ they both represent mans rebellion against God. That's why they are covered and the Blood was put above them on the mercy seat.
