physical attraction isn't a bad thing, but i think we all agree that it's not the ONLY thing.
I in no way implied or even actually stated that people of a certain age have somehow passed the vanity of physical attraction and simplify love unconditionally...where on earth do you see such words in the response I have you?..You made that up I your own mind because such a statement or implication is nowhere to be found in what I said. The older a woman gets the less fertile she is. By the mid 30s a woman has reached the prime of her fertility and is on a gradual downward slope of fertility up until menopause. I'm just talking about biological facts here, there is nothing disagreeable about what I am saying. It isn't intended to be inappropriate.
I think you did disregard the value of physical attraction with your most recent reply to me saying that Christians marry at any age because they have surpassed the vanity of physical attraction and simply love unconditionally. I actually did tell you I agreed with the spirit of what you're saying because it's the ideal, but I'm talking about the reality of physical attraction absolutely being something we should discuss.
I do think you had an air of self-righteous piety about you when you said that. It's because I just doubt you would disregard physical attraction and focus solely on spiritual status the same way you're telling others to. Am I wrong?
Also, hey, not trying to step on anyone's toes. I'm sorry if I offended you.
The bible and I are of the same opinion (The bible came to it first)Why do you somehow think there is an air of self righteousness?Where are you picking that up from?,
I wasn't talking about physical attraction but responding to your comment that's all.God doesn't expect us to be in denial of the basic humanistic qualities that we have within us because he is the one who created us with them in the 1st place..
Yes men are visual and we treat to what we see which is true and everyone will find someone else attractive to them personally regardless of that persons age.
The wrapping on the present may be the most beautiful you have ever seen but the reason you do not return it is because of what is on the inside.physical attraction isn't a bad thing, but i think we all agree that it's not the ONLY thing.
I in no way implied or even actually stated that people of a certain age have somehow passed the vanity of physical attraction and simplify love unconditionally...where on earth do you see such words in the response I have you?..You made that up I your own mind because such a statement or implication is nowhere to be found in what I said.
I was just stating that people get married at any age and gave those age groups of real life examples to illustrate this...that's all I said it for and nothing more..and of course in EVERY normal human relationship there is ALWAYS physical attraction. That just common knowledge..
And yes you're totally wrong.
The majority of comments here are just about height related things..and even if you look at my original thread I did even make reference to whether height has an appeal or physical attraction..
Best you respond to what someone actually says rather that send a responce to something that isn't even there in the 1st place.
Just stating the facts that allOk sure what ever you say pal.
There are both advantages and disadvantages. I have been married 3 times and I was the taller in each of them. However, for the last two marriages, including my current (and last) marriage, I was the younger one, 2 1/2 months younger for the second wife, and my current wife is 17 days older than me. I guess that my preference is for older women.Being taller is important if what you want it on the top shelf.
Need to change light bulb or fire detector battery without a ladder.
Run reasonably fast
See which way to go in a crowd
Big Tall:
If you want to make others think twice before doing something stupid around you.
If you want total strangers to cross the street at night to avoid walking past you
Being shorter is better if it is on the bottom shelf.
of if you live in a place with a low ceiling
or if you intend to live to like 100
or if you want to pay less for clothing and shoes
or if you want to be a plumber or another trade that involves small spaces
or if you want to have a lower risk for back problems
if you want to be better at hide and seek
if you want to own and drive a VW Beetle or even a normal sized care for that matter.
There probably aren't very many women who are taller than you @ 6'1"I'm 6'1". I don't think I'd feel comfortable dating a woman taller than myself.
Intresting observation..There probably aren't very many women who are taller than you @ 6'1"
The issue of height is one of Biblical interest to me, because some people think "giant" must mean something like thirteen feet tall, when in reality, anyone over about 6'6" makes most anyone else feel like quite a midget by comparison.
