Doing the right thing often comes with a cost, and if they get sued so be it. Stand with the Lord and do what is right.

Amen and I must say that Christian persecution is here to stay and will only get worse. It is a crying shame that a gays, atheists, lesbians and any other liberal group can force their beliefs and rights down our throats while slamming us a bigots, religious fanatics and claiming that we are haters and then suing us into bankruptcy or having us arrested and in some cases overseas having us killed because we stand for truth. Come Lord and set this all straight.
 
I'm guessing Phil could care less he was suspended. It's been reported he was only going tondo the show for one more season. Besides, he is a faithful man. This won't ruin him.
 
You can tell fake christians on tv. They never mention Christ or the bible.

I have not read the article from GQ but I did hear that later in the article Phil said he was not anyone's judge. Really all he said was he preferred women. He also mentioned other sins as well.

Funny its now all about homosexuality.

I just do not understand the liberal christian. Time after time liberalism attacks christianity and lies about it....and they keep voting for liberals and believing. Barbera Waters the other day tried to connect the love for President Obama with this word....Messiah.

Makes ya wonder which god liberal christians serve.

Excellent statement about being faithful. If God be for us who can be against us and for having the guts on national T.V. to make a biblical stand is honorable in the eyes of God. :)
 
didn't A&E hire him for the same reason he's now been canned? because he is an archetypical backwoods rural southerner success story, who was never afraid to speak his piece?

i hope i'm not the only one getting a chuckle from the irony.
 
Phil has received a lesson in media manipulation. We are being taken to a standard above which we cannot go.

To be honest I am surprised the show lasted this long. They end every show with prayer. Which I love, but I am shocked that didnt create an uproar.

It is a little humorous, but really should make us all sit up and take notice as the world has turned against biblical Christianity and if the "bastion" of freedom has crumbled to the point where a true believer cannot voice the truth then we should all stand horrified and be on our knees praying for strength for what will be coming down the pipe soon.
 
Some are suggesting this could be a contract ploy.

The family from what I have heard from several sources, may walk from the show if Phill is not re-hired and they have received an offer or two to switch networks.

Lets see who's principles bend first...I think A&E are more interested in money than their ''moral'' position.
 
the whole idea to begin with was to make Christians looks like buffoons.
choose a backwater folk and show them acting silly.
but it was popular....the Reality Show backfired and America loved it...the $$ poured in, and well....anyway - their contract said no Politically Incorrect remarks.

what i found amazing, was they said he was 'preaching"; or "speaking" about homosexuality - but he was quoting the Bible word for word.

it's now shameful to read from the bible.

i found gay Anderson Cooper's call for tolerance amusing.
