My son asked about his father again tonight. I said what I always do ... daddy loves you he just needs Y-shua because his life is a little messed up and he does not want to hurt you. ... My son's dad walked out in 2006, and I have said the same thing ever since... I can stand before G-d and say I have never slandered my son's dad ... for the benefit of my son. Tonight I facebooked my son's dad and said you are a piece of *hit but your son wants to see you and I have never told him what a piece of *hit you are. ....

I'm thinking I should have not called him a piece of*hit like five times... But he has to know he is a worthless human being for walking out on his autistic son in 2006... How do you send an e-mail to a worthless piece of *hit to make him see his son? It's Probably just prayer ... right... humans really do suck but for the grace of G-d.... But if there is an email to send that does not call someone a piece of *hit like five times (already sent that) I would be receptive... I would take your advice.....

I can imagine how broken your heart is that your son's father won't show him the love he deserves. That's very sad. Perhaps you can write a letter apologizing for calling him names. Then tell him how passionate you are about your son having parents who love him and show how precious he is, how much you want good things for your son. Maybe if you are just honest with your feelings rather than attacking him, he might hear you.

Just be prepared to wait. It may take a while for him to really hear you, especially if you just called him worthless, ya know? He knows you're angry right now. Just make sure he knows you were speaking out of wrath, that you really are sorry and that he couldn't possibly be a piece of crap since he fathered a most beautiful son.

Pray about it, ask God the right words to say that are truth and not emotionally charged. After you write the letter, read it back as if someone wrote the letter to you. That way you can discern if it's safe to send to him. I pray in Jesus' name you listen to God and do the right thing for your son's sake. :::hugs to you, dear:::

I wonder how you are in your current situation.
Until you can see you ex-partner as a sinful human being in need of Christs love, with some sinful
aspects which caused you a lot of pain, but you see them as Jesus sees them, you will never be
free from the hurt and pain they have caused you.

You loved them enough to have a son, but obviously feel betrayed as well as your son who you
are protecting from the real rejection his father has delivered.

Until you can see them as they are, a failed sinner who could be a worthy child of God, anger and
bitterness will eat your heart away. Jesus bore our sins so that we might be healed so we can
bear others sins and respond in the same way. None of us know how we will react to difficult
circumstances, and for some, it is just too much. It is why sin is in the world, short cuts are
always the seeming quick solution, though they destroy the very thing we hoped to save.

Hey i am back in contact with my dad. It was hard for my mom too after him kidnapping, molesting and starving me.
Let him choose and stop calling him names. If he is ready he will say yes. A child isn't easy and I wasnt there but givr him a chance. Heck 12 years passed now
Oh Demi777, heaven is made for people like you.

Yeah, doesn't that just bite!?! Never abandoned my child though!!! Am I better than the dad... YES, I AM... BUT THAT WAS NOT MY QUESTION AND YOU DID NOT ANSWER IT EITHER!!!
I'd start here, where you think you are better, and take that to the Lord to get that readjusted. THEN you can deal with your ex-husband.

I have forgave my son's dad... The question is not his manhood or what kind of person he is that is settled by his abandonment... I asked what can I say to him to make him see his son or contact him. His son is 24, autistic. Dad owes nothing, I never went after him for support. His son wants wants his DADDY!!! You settle that!!!! If you are capable of abandoning you son I feel sorry for you... But I m not!!!
No you haven't. Forgive includes never bringing it up again. Obviously, you haven't forgiven him.

That's okay for now. You still need to face who you are first. You've set yourself up to who-you-aren't pretty tightly, so that has to change. That's why I suggested you take you to the Lord.

It's funny how if a man does this in modern day, he is every bad name in the book (rightfully so too)... but when Abraham kicked his first born son Ishmael out (along with his wife/mother of his first born son) it's no big deal... "Abraham is still a great prophet... look how much God blessed him!" Maybe I'll never understand why Abraham is seen in the light that he is viewed in...

Anyways, I pretty much agree with the people who say it's pointless to force the sperm donor into seeing his son. I applaud you on not badmouthing the father and doing your best to raise your son without his help. You've done your part (and his).
Have you ever read that story? Because your version is fan-fiction compared to the real story.

I have autisim also. However I cant possibly know what your sons going through. I was fortunate enough to be blessed with two amazing parents. I do however know (although perhaps not to the same extent) the hatered you feel. I think its important to forgive and forget and pray your son follows suite

Genesis 21:14 "Early the next morning Abraham got some food and a bottle of water. The bottle was made out of animal skin. He gave the food and water to Hagar, placing them on her shoulders. Then he sent her away with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba."

I'm uncertain what part about what I said is the fictitious part. Sarah told Abraham to get rid of "that slave woman" (his 2nd wife) and her son. I mean, it was Sarah who told Abraham to impregnate Hagar in the first place ironically... Thankfully, in the end, God told Abraham not to worry because he'll bless Ishmael to create a great nation.

Seems to me like you just wanted to call the guy a
piece of $#!+ and used you son as an excuse to do it.
That's what's known in today's vernacular
as "throwing someone under the bus".
I don't know the back-story, but maybe shutting
that door altogether would be the best thing to do.
When your son's grown he can search out the piece of $#!+ if he wants to.

Let's face it. As a Christian you were COMPLETELY OUT OF LINE in making that comment. So instead of thinking you made a mistake, you owe that man an apology. If you have not already done so, then sit down and tender a genuine written apology, including the fact that you sinned against God and your husband with what you said and thought. God sees even the vilest sinners as redeemable, and it is not your place to demean anyone no matter how badly they behave.

If I was her I wouldn't lose any sleep wondering if I should say I'm sorry or not. She is telling him like it is, maybe some good will come of it and he might decide to dedicate time to his son. If I were her I would've called him worse but that's just me.
