Well they happen all the time, the big one people have been saying for years and it will happen one day, because California is on a active fault line..

An increase in detected earthquake numbers does not necessarily represent an increase in earthquakes per se. Population increase, habitation spread, and advances in earthquake detection technology all contribute to higher earthquake numbers being recorded over time.
 
The earth is in labor to bring forth, like the birth pains of a woman in travail they will increase and become more and more severe as the time of deliverance draws near.

1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

If that was the case then it wouldn't be sudden destruction as that verse says if things just start becoming more and more over time. IMO the statement about earthquakes in the bible means a global event not a local event or even something that gradually gets worse.
 
Yet we know He gives warning before events, "the wise man sees and avoids trouble the fool rushes in".

Matthew 24:7

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

When a woman first starts into labor there is no turning back from it until a man child is born into the world. :)

Exactly divers places meaning more than just one place multible places at once..

Neither did Jesus say more and more it will get worse earthquakes, I'll lean more too it happening pretty close to each other than gradually more and more, a average of 14,000 earthquakes happen each year on this planet this is by creation design tectonic plate movement is real no ones has to believe that of coarse but I do..

Romans 8:18-22

A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. :)
 
I believe that sometimes people really do get prophecies about things that will happen that might be destructive. But it can also overlap with a "word of knowledge" - given to call people to intercede and "stand still and see the power of the Lord". Many people are even now walking around California calling on God for intervention and to keep the earth only under his direction and control. I believe that many large quakes have been avoided because of these people who are called to pray.

Most people just can't leave California anyway. And why instill fear into them? Better to assure them of God's protection. People should not leave unless they hear the Lord speak to their spirit personally that it is time for them to leave, and they would also be given great assurance that He has gone ahead and prepared place for them. And they would leave with a spirit of peace, not fear.

Good point, probably the need for water is at the top of the list...
 
If I lived in California I wouldn't care two cents what Rick Joyner says because there is more of a need for water in Cali and a lot of people living in the streets under the Hollywood lights of money and fame the Hollywood walk of sham, I mean really Rick Joyner is worried about a earthquake His got his priorities screwed up.
