you misread. I didn't say that Matt 24 & dan .were fulfilled, I said there's holes in the theory that they have been fulfilled. I'm not a preterist or a partial preterist. Only they believe that theory. read back. Yet I'm not calling them "full of madness" & insulting their Christian beliefs with namecalling.

No i didnt say you said that...so apparently you misread how many times??..jk
I said go ahead and poke some holes in the preterists view..thats whats fun here.
Its not manditory to call people names. I dont think. You were called full of madness?
Oh my..not very nice huh?

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The madness is that Christians don’t think that Matt24 is talking about the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Have you even noticed how many comings are in the two testaments? Or end of the world statements? Notice the word sign. Is the second coming gona be needing a sign?
Matthew 24:21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

It will be the worst it as ever been or ever shall be, and his angels gather together his elect from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven

Deuteronomy 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
..........................Peter are you gona jab folks with scripture? Do you really think a persons end time belief will corrupt their minds...and amount to something that will complicate their walk with the Lord?

In most cases No not really.

I was emphasising the simplicity that is in Christ in that verse more than anything

From my own personal studies, if Matthew 24 states one thing clearly, it's that from the foundation of the Church (at Pentecost) to the literal second coming of Christ is one age, the Church age. While it could be argued that certain aspects of the prophecy has already been fulfilled, the simple truth is that the time of the Gentiles (ie, the Great Commission) is currently in effect. There is absolutely nothing in the passage which states or indicates anything else thus there is little to no evidence to prove Amillenialism, Post Millenialism or Dispensationism.

Where does Matthew 24 talk about Pentecost?
Where does it talk about the church age?
If the times of the gentiles means the great commission, why was it given to Jews?
You say its clearly in Matthew 24...please show me where you even see any of this remotely.

So what is the times of the gentiles? Its the period God used Gentile nations to afflict Jerusalem!
Ending in 70ad. They all knew this from Daniel, and other scripture.

What do you mean "Where does it talk about the church age in matt24"
it’s all the church age from the days of Jesus, is it not?

Hi Peter, Id make the mark at Pentecost. But we cant get technical about it
if we dont define terms.

If we were talking about the church now as the Body of Christ then no i wouldnt mark it
in the days of Jesus for this reason:

Eph. 1:22 And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things. 23 Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all

Therefore it would need to be past the resurrection, and the day of Pentecost. For
obvious reasons right?
