I really like to hear Christians experience on this.

I believe scripture holds highest authority. God will not contradict to His words.

But if one just follow a set of rules, doctrines, theologies, a high cause, might not hold him when good or bad times come. Or time will just wash away the believe.

Having true encounter with God is essential, I think. Like Daniel, 3 young men, Paul, Abraham, Jacob....Ruth, Esther....

I think Christian experience of God's presence refers to being Spirit-filled, but God's interaction with humans begins primitively when souls become truthseekers (Matt. 7:7, Heb. 11:6), because God’s Spirit is Truth (1John 5:6), although the young soul may not realize it (Rom. 1:17, 2Thes. 2:10).

When truthseekers realize that God has a moral requirement, if they worship Him they become like Abraham, and the relationship with God becomes personal (Rom. 4:1-25). At the moment of worship and saving faith like Abraham, the Spirit of Christ/God’s Holy Spirit enters the believer’s spiritual heart— again even though they may not realize it–because Paul taught that whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ (Rom. 8:9). Of course, partial knowledge of God's Word will limit ability to cooperate with His Holy Spirit, so there is a need for evangelism and learning the full Gospel (Matt. 28:19-20).

With greater awareness because of learning the NT Gospel, when a truthseeker confesses Jesus as Messiah and Lord (Acts 20:21, Rom. 10:9), the HS indwells the convert’s heart (Rom. 5:5) and unites him/her with God as heavenly Father (Rom. 8:9)–which moment is called spiritual rebirth (John 3:3-8), baptism by the Spirit (Matt. 3:11/Mark 1:8/Luke 3:16, John 1:33, Acts 1:5, 1Cor. 12:13) and receiving the Spirit of adoption/sonship (Rom. 8:14-16).

The outward evidence that someone was baptized by the HS (Rom. 5:5) and is Spirit-filled (Eph. 5:18) or walking with God is the fullness of Christ (Eph. 3:19, 4:13) or fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), which is signified by “love” (Gal. 5:6, Matt. 22:37-40), because God is love (1John 4:7-16).

What makes a seeker believe Jesus is son of God?
Paul heard about Jesus, he was persecuting Jesus followers.
God stroke him to make him believe.

How about us?

I was not raised in a church family. My dad was an angry atheist. My mother kept quiet, although she was a closet Anglican. I was sent to Sunday School, as was traditional in my generation. It was the 1950's alternative to hours of cartoons on Sunday mornings. I had no trouble believing the facts. It made as much impact as knowing that Nero was a Roman emperor.

I was forced to attend church for 3 years while at boarding school. I vowed never to set foot in church again. By the time I was 20, my life was a mess. I was a drunk, sick, utterly depressed and suicidal. Life had no meaning as far as I was concerned. I came close to death twice in two weeks from alcohol poisoning. On the one hand, I was suicidal. On the other, I was terrified of death. No, I can't explain it.

Shortly before my 21st birthday, my boss started talking to me after work. He witnessed to me about sin, God's righteousness and holiness, and the judgement on sinners. He used what is known as "the Roman road". My heart sank. I knew that I could not match God's perfection and what that meant for my eternity. I'd never read the Bible, but I asked the age old question: "What must I do to be saved?"

I accepted Christ as saviour there and then. Immediately a great load of guilt lifted off me. I also realised that I had been searching for meaning in the wrong places. That's why I had been depressed. I found what I was looking for. I was changed from that moment on.

The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from, and where it is going to: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

The wind is invisible but we experience its presence by what it is doing. I recognise those who are walking in the Holy Spirit by what they are doing. That is how I also experience God’s presence. I observe what He is doing in and around me.

Carnal mined me wanted something profound.Even a lot of Christian don't consciously know the answer to life. It's so simple. It's on the cross. The life is in the blood.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 john 4:8

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

You can also take it far back to the beginning.Everything God created he did out of love.
simple answer.

One of the things he showed me during the times of the Two Witnesses which felt like years that I've lived, was being thrown in jail.
While the guard was walking me to general pop the inmates were trying to intimidate me saying "there he is!,there he is!."
I asked God in my mind to show them his power, that he was with me.
Before the guard could place his key into the cell door it flew open and slammed into the cell bars hard, scaring the inmates, while the guard was in shocked and confused how it just suddenly slammed open on it's own.

God told me that he was going to make a way for me, and naturally I thought he meant I'll be out in no time. But that wasn't the case.I was there for a long time it felt like.
Him making a way for me was fto testify of his Two Witnesses. When people would hear his Two Witnesses the looks on their faces I can't describe properly. It was pure joy with their mouths wide open. They didn't want to stop hearing of the Word.
The guard stood by the bars to listen and people from the next block stood as close as they can to the connected cell pop.
I actually denied two people there, and God punished me for it.They'd leave the group but listen in from a distance with a angry facial expression.
Some time later God woke some of us up and the earth shook openthe cell door. There was two guards standing watching. They stood there in a stupor while we walking past them and out of the jail.

I think a lot of people would want to be a part of the 144,000 but it's not easy. It's like a trained military personnel disciplined by the word of God and he chooses from them his remnant. The best of them.

God actually slammed a cell door open once for me and it was caught on the court security system.I was laying in the cell with my head spinning from being drugged.I heard the cell door slam, opened my eyes and turned my head to the door and there was Jesus filled with light.
I never once cried like this before, but I crawled to him as fast as I could, bawling my eyes out while the guard who had the key in his hand like he was about to open the cell said "Did you see that?! it flew open on it's own!"there quite a few cops standing there but they couldn't see Jesus.I cried for a long time at his feet.
After court we were heading over to be loaded in the van, and back to the jail.Just before you open the door to the van waiting, theres the small room where the guards watch over the cells with video cameras.
They were watching the video in amazement.
All that time while I had my court appearance along with the others with me,people Guards, police, and lawyers were all still looking at the video recording of what happen.I asked God if I could see it and it showed the door slam open with a bright light silhouette of Jesus, and me rushing over to his feet.
Then I asked God if they can keep it to show people that he's real, and they kept it.
The church that my father is from has it.That satanic church.I know God will keep his word,so them having it doesn't bother me.

This is one of the wildest moments that God saved me,but there's other times where he did again save me that are just as unbelievable.
I'd never tell any of my family members about 90% of my testimony cause it's so unbelievable and they wouldn't want to believe it anyways cause it beings light into their sins on the things they did to me.Whenever I bring up God they don't like it.

God is real !!!!!

God is real !!!!!
Very real.I think he revealed himself in to me in which a way during my life because my faith was weak.It doesn't bother me that he seeded me to such broken parents.A father involved heavily in a satanic cult to the third generation.
An equally abusive mother who never got over the effects of residential which she passed on that trauma to her offspring.
Which I was singled out for especially. He seeded me here to refine me.
I know that sounds harsh, but from what God had shown me before even being born on the earth,he's doing what he said he would do.
He said that he was going to draw us back to him.

I have a couple of songs that describe your despondency and your finding Christ that I think you will relate to:

There is certainly a manifest presence of God that is known to us through our physical senses. An excellent example was given using the example of wind. God working through the circumstances of life, answering prayers, and revealing Himself. But these things are to encourage us to seek a deeper and more intimate knowledge of God. We are in union with Christ Himself. It's difficult to read John 14:23 and not see that much more is available to us. Jesus tells us that God the Father and He Himself will make Their dwelling place with us. This is communion with God Himself. It is the same communion that the Father and Son dwell in. This is not known through the physical senses, but is spiritually discerned.

I'm convinced that most Christians know little of this communion. I don't say this to disparage anyone. The opposite of this is true. I encourage everyone to seek such intimacy.

You said if I'm understanding you correctly, that you won't feel His presence physically or the physical senses, but only spiritual?

Can you expand on that position?

God inhabits the praises of His people. God desires more than anything is our worship. Not asking from His hand but to see His face.
