I want nothing, and there is nothing that anyone can promise or give me, ABOVE THE TRUTH.

Thy Word is truth. Only the Word is pure, because it comes from God and not most commentaries. You know the Bible teaches that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement? James gives warning in that what we teach others is going to be subject condemnation, if not true. James 3:1. Many do not tremble at God's word, but use it as a debating table in stead of a learning one.

Yep...and the BIBLE also says what Paul came to understand...that he should leave himself to the LORD who will judge...that this did not make him innocent, but the LORD will judge all things

I have ALSO left myself to MY LORD who will judge me and I do not care much how I am judged by men...
I know what I know...and I know what I say...and I know that if it is something that I hesitate on as possibly not true, I DO NOT SAY IT

Do you think those who speak today, whom HE has said what HE whispers in the ear, are NOT speaking TRUTH?
Or that, do not prepare what you will say, because in that time, I will give you what to say...

Are they speaking TRUTH...

It is a good thing that the LORD has given us the ability to discern the spirits...we are able to discern what is spoken in TRUTH and what isn´t

"Whisperings in the ear" have to agree to what is already written.

If you agree to that, why did you find it a need to remind me that every idle word will be judged? Did you think I was speaking idly?

No mention of the holy Spirit restraining, so do not include it.
Hmm interesting have you read a translation that says Holy Spirit or something I’m not quite understanding what you mean?

I’ve looked at the top 50 or so translation and haven’t found any use Holy Spirit. I’m not sure what the KJV has to do with those two verses

Itś THE HOLY SPIRIT
But that is NOT what the OP wants to hear. "No mention of the holy Spirit restraining, so do not include it."

And if it is not God the Holy Spirit who is the only one who can restrain and control Satan, then people can concoct any nonsense they wish.

It should be noted in this context that since the Holy Spirit indwells the children of God, when the Church is raptured, both the Church and the Spirit are "taken out of the way". Which means there is no restraint on Satan and the Antichrist on earth for a period of 3 1/2 years (42 months). This is where Revelation 12 and 13 are relevant.

The Holy Spirit is not in the text, obviously, but some commentaries that suggest the restrainer is the Spirit. He is not, that is just guess work. The answer is in the text ,in verse three. Do you see it? You will find truth in the Word. Commentaries are filled with "some scholars believe, could be, might be, some others think, etc. Only the word is truth, and that if righty divided. Let's hear some real answers, and stick to the question asked.

Verily I say unto thee, one doth suspect many fine readers careth not for thy restrictive instructions.

I agree.....that view has been peddled by many churches and preachers and yet it does not state that in any form or fashion....when one literally translates the words used it really opens up what is actually restraining and or HOLDING THE POWER until the one that will be the MAN OF SIN comes INTO EXISTENCE......it also helps to have a full blown study of history and HOW SATAN has been attempting to bring about the worship of himself in a man as God from day one......

HE restrains and holds back all evil, sir...if he didn´t, you can´t even begin to imagine what would happen...for believer and unbeliever alike...

Ok...but has he, yet...and why hasn´t he..
What then, sir is holding him back?

And if you say the church, sir...so...who said I will be with you even to the end of the ages?

Therefore, once HE who holds all things back is taken out of the way, then no one, no one, led by THE SPIRIT, the church, those who belong to HIM, born of HIS SPIRIT< will be able to convince men that what they do is evil....

Just a side note....one look around and it is obvious that sin/evil is not restrained.....the bible is clear....evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse and SATAN RUNS to and fro seeking whom he may devour!
