So on to explaining these four parts that the “hin” contains. We know that the whole of the “hin” means reaching out and responding to the call. There obviously are four parts to this process that God has completed through Christ Jesus, for He has fulfilled the law, being the final part of the whole. There now are three pieces left to define. One fourth is what the Israelites were experiencing at the moment, which is the Mosaic covenant, containing the Law. The second quarter part is the possessing the land that was promised to Abraham; which at that time had not been fulfilled yet. This is substantiated by what Luke recorded in Acts 7:5-6. “And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child. And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.” Obviously the bondage of four hundred years was denoting Israel’s time in Egypt, but the promise to Abraham included the sandal covenant to mark the boundaries between the family plots of possession. The third quarter is the covenant, which is called the “salt covenant” denoting preservation and palatable food with taste by seasoning with salt. This also included the promise that the kingship, and priesthood would be of the tribe of Judah. Now we see that the fourth part of a “hin” represents hope for the complete salvation to be finished through the promises of God. The law is needful, the possession of the gift is imperative, the mediator must be recognized, and finally, the first three parts are now together because of the fourth part of the “hin” being fastened in its proper place. So the full “hin” of oil is defined as the Spirit of God in all four aspects, and the “hin” of wine is defined as the Word of God contained in these four covenants, and the flour is all of the Word of God in completion. John 2:9-10 reads as follows; “When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. And John 1:1 says; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Let’s carry on to explain the reasons for the quantities of animals used in these offerings. I mention again, that these were not trespass offerings or sin offerings concerning the bullocks, rams, and lambs. These were offerings depicting the faithful, and the people of a contrite and pure heart, coming together to worship and converse with each other in Spirit, and in truth. As we mentioned before, the Bullock represents the Godhead, the Ram represent the individual Patriarchs of God’s covenants from Abraham to Moses, and the lambs represent the congregation. It is important to understand that these three animals are commanded offerings that are not for a trespasses or sins. The goat is for that.
Numbers 29:1-2 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:
I have asked our Lord Jesus; “Why seven lambs?” Days before writing any more, there were several things that went through my mind, and I have determined that these several things all apply. The struggle that I had is relating the rams to individuals, and I believe that was the right thing to do. In relation, I could not come up with certain individuals for the lambs. I kept thinking about Jesus Christ being the individual “One Lamb,” but then it hit me that He is the fulfillment of all things, past, present, and future. Then it started to make sense that the seven lambs are a fulfillment from the beginning to the end, and God chooses people to fulfill His plans. Please understand that “feasts” are “His” Holy Convocations. They are appointments in time, remembering the past, relating to the present, and with that, thinking in retrospect giving us hope for the future in Christ Jesus. In Hebrew, the word “convocation” means a “rehearsal”. Rehearsal is defined as “the act of practicing in preparation for an event". I will mention just a few of seven identities that involve the totality of Jesus Christ’s fulfillment. The eighth verse in the first chapter of Revelation is obviously our Lord Jesus Christ speaking. He says; “ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” This brings us to the seven churches mentioned in the first three chapters of the last book in the Bible. The spiritual number seven represents resurrection, spiritual completeness, and the Fathers perfection. The seventh letter in the Hebrew alphabet is ”Zayin” meaning food and nourishment to the ground, and preparing it to receive the seed. The seventh day is a day of rest made for the human race, and the correct understanding of what Sabbath means is found in Hebrews 4:10. “ For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” This is a clear-cut exhortation that self works justifies no one. In the first verse of the same chapter of Hebrews we can see a warning that this spiritual rest is vital. It reads: “ Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.” In relation to other aspects, as we continue, I will be mentioning these verses again because of their vital importance.

Another scripture comes to mind, concerning the quantity of seven is in Revelation 5:6. “ And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” One cannot take bits and pieces of scripture connecting those segments with the seven spirits of God, so here is a complete picture of world events shown to us in scripture as I think this scripture reveals.
I see seven major covenants in scripture. Six have been fulfilled, and the seventh is prophesied giving us an expected hope that the last promise will come to pass simply because the previous six promises are all true. Let’s look back to what God has done, and know what He will do.
1. Adam=God giving sustenance and authority over land and animals to mankind. This is the first time in the Bible that blood was shed for the atonement/covering of the sinful flesh.
2. Noah=the promise not to destroy the faithful, and never again destroy the earth with water depicted with a rainbow.
3. Abraham=the promise of making a nation for an example to the entire world.
4. Moses=giving instructions to learn the will of God distinguishing, and identifying transgression, that eventually led to the promised land and the sandal covenant.
5. David=the promise of an everlasting kingdom through his lineage of Judah called the salt covenant, salt being a preservative.
6. Jesus=the promise for the remission of transgression/iniquity/sins completing the promise to David, the Priesthood being through Judah, transferred on the mount of transfiguration. I believe that Jesus in the form of man represents the number 6 in this sequence of events because He became flesh in order to kill the flesh, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us as John chapter 1 states.
7. Ephraim and Judah will become one nation=Ephraim is classified as the entire world of Gentiles being connected with the dispersion of the 10 tribes captured by the Assyrian Empire, never to return to the promised land until the final judgment described in Revelation. Judah returned in 1948 as the Jews, and will be united with Ephraim.
Ezekiel 37:16-23 defines it this way. “Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: (Gentiles) And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.”

The following is a complete picture of the history of God’s faithfulness, judgments, and promises from beginning to end. In essence we see seven events, one built upon another, completing God’s divine plan that I would classify as the seven spirits of God. I believe this can be all wrapped together in what the true church should be, and then including the seven churches in the first part of the book of Revelation.

1. The church has been given authority,
2. and is promised protection due to being faithful.

3.They are promised increase when justified by faith,
4. and they are to conduct themselves with integrity that glorifies God.

5. They will be completely beautiful as the betrothed bride of Christ.

6. The Groom knocks on the heart's door in preparation for the marriage, (Revelation 3:20)
7. and faithfully prepares a place for her, and with joy receives her for Himself.

This is what I would call the seven Spirits of God denoting Resurrection, Spiritual completeness, and our Father's perfection. One might think at this point that these attributes are the offerings made by Christ Jesus, and our Father in heaven. These offerings are a representation of God’s children carrying the understanding in their heart.

Through faith we know, and revere the handiwork of God, recognizing our Father’s seven. So we can see that the seven lambs represent the indwelling Spirit of our Lord within His children. We now have a sincere reason to yearn, as did Paul, when we read Romans 8:23. “And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” In relation, remember that seven weeks are counted for feast of weeks, beginning with the harvest that is after Passover, and firstfruits are within this time frame. Also the fifty days counted, beginning in the first month, represent the Holy Spirit, and Pentecost. The fifteenth day of the first month, unleavened bread, begins the same day as the feast of tabernacles in the seventh month. It’s amazing to me how the number seven continues to pop up in relation to the Holy Spirit of God, all centered upon Jesus Christ. So in James 1:18 we see the seven lambs that will be (future tense) the firstfruits of His formation, and product. It reads “ Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”

I need to make a correction on a mistake I made on post# 257 the first paragraph, and post # 275 the second paragraph. They are better defined as follows. They should read respectively.....

(Post #257) The closest I can come to the beginning of the “Feast of Weeks” is that it starts eight days after Passover. The word “Pentecost” means fifty, being the same as the Hebrew day of “Shavuot.” This day commemorates the giving of the law at Sinai, ending the fifty-day count. (Exodus 24:16-18)

(Post #275) In summary we have feasts in the first month of the year, and the seventh month of the year that fall on the same days during the month. At the start of the first and seventh months trumpets sound when the new moon arrives. On the tenth day of both months the Lamb is secured and atonement starts. On the fifteenth day of both months is a time to start living in the tabernacles, or if you will, living our salvation as firstfruits unto the Lord of the New Testament likened to the “Feast of Weeks. It all fits, and we see only three feasts commanded by God to be kept from the beginning. They are the “Feast of Unleavened Bread” the “Feast of Weeks” that include “firstfruits” in the first month, and remembered with the “Feast of Tabernacles,” along with all that God has done to protect His children.

I want to jump in and say, when I saw the meaning of the words "Feasts" and "convocations" are appointments..and rehearsals...that God's Feast are His appointed times!!! That got my attention. I had believed all the Feasts were fulfilled, not knowing what that meant. Then I find that only the Spring Feasts have been fulfilled by Messiah, but that the Fall Feasts are reserved for His return. Why aren't people more interested in learning about that? Our Father is trying to tell us something!

Thank you Just-me for doing the work of helping explain! It means a lot!

It makes me think of Jericho.....they had to go 7 times around before the walls fell....we're so close.

I'll be honest I don't know if I agree 100% on the stuff you extrapolate, but you obviously spent a long time learning about the feasts. Too bad there's only a few of us, but Jesus told the Pharisees that God could raise up a nation for Abraham out of stones, so I know it isn't numbers that matter.

Can you explain more about Ephraim and the sticks? I'll confess those sticks have been sitting on my shelf of things I have yet to understand for some time now. I don't know what's missing in my brain. It seems as you have some understanding that I do not.

Blessed is the people that hear TERUAH =) Make straight the way of the Lord!

[SUP]At the end of the age...one happy family..the whole chapter is really good, valley of dry bones....

EZEKIEL 37
20 [/SUP]And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. [SUP]21 [/SUP]And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: [SUP]22 [/SUP]and I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: [SUP]23 [/SUP]neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. [SUP]24 [/SUP]And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. [SUP]25 [/SUP]And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. [SUP]27 [/SUP]My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [SUP]28 [/SUP]And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Well I understand about the valley of dry bones, that's one of my favorite chapters. I'm just so bad with names. I reread the part about the tribes and what happened to them when they went into slavery and when they went into the promise land. I should try again to study. I just don't know why the children of Israel needed a prophet with a stick to tell them they'd be reunited.

Sorry I don't mean to derail the thread

that's ok, I think pictures were important to convey thoughts. The use of vine, branch, tree, natural elements. The Paleo Hebrew was in itself pictures. Love the way our Creator's Name was first written...one letter looks like an outstretched arm, and means....outstretched arm. That's all I got. Maybe someone else can shed light.

So let’s compare the first month of Nisan with the seventh month of Tishri, and the ministry of Christ Jesus to see the similarities. In Exodus 12:2-3 God says “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:” In this passage we see the first day of the first month counting nine days that proceed the tenth day that is mentioned. We can safely say that it would have taken nine days to relay this message throughout all of Israel, and arrange for each family to have access to a lamb of the first year by sorting the flocks, and searching for any blemish. Now in Leviticus 23:24 we read “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation” ending with the completion of the nine days as we continue on to read the first part of verse 27 that says “Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement.” Now to compare this, one can read from Matthew chapter 13 through to the end of chapter 20. This example of scripture could be marking the ending of the nine days as depicting a gathering crowd of people focused on Jesus. Scripture doesn't tell us exactly what Jesus did during the first nine days of the first month or the seventh month. All it tells us is His ministry before He entered into Jerusalem on the tenth day being the same day the lamb was secured in Exodus 12. This example can also be understood as the nine-day period of trumpets starting on the first day of the seventh month, calling the Jews unto repentance, convocation, and meditation on the past sustenance and promises God had kept, and gave to them and their forefathers.
So to consolidate the meaning in all three of these occurrences I first looked into what the number nine means in the Hebrew spiritual culture. These first nine days of the first and seventh month are related to the “fruit of the Spirit,” and divine completeness from the Father. With the exception of the goat to cover the sins of the people, these offerings were symbols of oneself denoting a separation from all other influences, and focusing on the will of God according to their individual divine purpose. As a foreshadow of things to come, Jesus, the patriarchs, and all of God’s children were to be separated daily from the world’s values they were born into, and used according to His purpose.

Numbers 29:1-5 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram,
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And one tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you:

There are two scripture references that come to mind as I think about what these offerings are representing concerning the church. One is in Romans 12:1-2, relating to sacrifice, and the other is 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 relating to being separated according to our Father’s will. These are the verses. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” Further, we must keep in mind the reason for this ninth day “get together”, concerning “convocation”, and “no servile work” as we read in Numbers 29:1. In short, a convocation is to enlighten people of the reason they are coming together, understanding that as God was true to His promises in the past, He would also make good on His future promises, even if they didn’t know how that would come to pass. It was also a time to cease from self-works. Let’s compare this with scripture from the New Testament, in Romans 14:19, Hebrews 4:10, and Hebrews 13:16. “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

Today, these four animals represent the true church. Through the sin offering we are acceptable in the sight of God, having a High Priest that fulfills all things because of His offering. Those are the spiritual terms being understood by this physical parable being a shadow of things to come. Because of the offering of the bullock, the rams and lambs are accepted by God, causing the goat sacrifice for sins to be effective in the sight of God. Luke 10:3 says it best. “Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.” And in Hebrews 9:12-14 we read “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” And finally Psalm 66:15 to the chief musician is written; “I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats.” Selah means to think and meditate on this.

And now we arrive at the tenth day of the first and seventh month.
Exodus 12:3 and 6 “Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.” (dusk=tonight)
Leviticus 23:27 “Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.”
Numbers 29:7
“And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:”
Matthew 21:8-9
“And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.”

Knowing that these two months and the ministry of Jesus are not to be separated, let’s see how they all fit day by day. The tenth day is the “Day of Atonement” meaning to sincerely reach for the enlightenment found within the spoken Words of God. By this sincerity, with sacrifices offered, our sins are covered, confirming to us God’s infinite mercy, and grace. It is the beginning of a five-day period for us to comprehend the spiritual meaning behind rituals practiced, and comprehending their foundational everlasting purpose. It is a time of self-denial defined in scripture as afflicting one’s soul. The soul gives us the power to reason for the purpose discerning, and the comprehension foundational truths.
As Christians we know that Jesus fulfilled the law. So the best place to see the spiritual purpose of these five days we will take a five-day journey with our Savior.
Day ten. Jesus enters Jerusalem and the people shout for salvation as promised by the prophets.
Day eleven. Jesus condemns a tree that doesn’t have fruit, commanding that it will never again bear fruit. That same day Jesus cleans the temple by refuting a religion established for profit. Does that sound familiar to you?
Day twelve. Jesus addresses Scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees while they ask leading questions, endeavoring to prove their own righteousness. Jesus also declares them as hypocrites, and pronounces judgment on them. Forgiveness is preached, and more parables are given for understanding the spiritual aspects of truth. This all takes place within the records written in Matthew 21:1 through Matthew 27:50
To name just a few parables, and prophecies of Jesus during this twelfth day are;
1. The two sons. One saying he would work and then didn’t, and the other saying he wouldn’t and then did.
2. The owner of the vineyard having husbandmen that finally killed his son.
3. The marriage feast being held and the people who were first invited didn’t show up.
4. Jesus identifies signs to watch for preceding His second coming.
5. The ten virgins watching for the bridegroom to come and five run out of oil for their lamps.
6. The talents given to the servants of a man that was going away for a time, and the investments they all made, but one hid the resources, and what he received in the beginning was taken from him in the end.
7. The separation between the sheep and the goats at the second coming of Christ.
Day thirteen. Authorities finally devise a plan to arrest and kill Jesus. A woman with an alabaster box anoints Jesus for burial with very expensive ointment. This is the day that preempts the Passover, and the last supper is being prepared.
Day fourteen begins when the sun goes down on the thirteenth. The preparation for Passover begins. Jesus and the disciples eat the last supper. Jesus prays in the garden of Gethsemane, and is finally betrayed by Judas Iscariot. Jesus is tried and found guilty by the Sanhedrin, gives audience to Herod, and is finally sent to Pilate. He is beaten, and hung on the cross at nine o’clock in the morning, and dies at three o’clock in the afternoon.
The quantities of days, being five, represents grace, God’s goodness, and Pentateuch being the first five books of the Bible. The beginning of these five days is the tenth day from the first day of the first and seventh month. The number ten represents testimony, law, and responsibility. So we now see the process of atonement. Our Lord enters into the presence of the congregation. He cleans it up. He exposes the unrighteous. He teaches with understanding. He suffers reproach because of the truth, and He takes to Himself the entity/enmity that separates us from Him. It all is a benefit to us, if we respond to the call of the trumpets. Ezekiel 7:14, and Ezekiel 33:5b “They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.” So to refresh our memory of the first fourteen days of the month in reading Numbers 29:1-8, we see no change in the offering of one bullock, one ram, and seven lambs, but for good reason the quantities change on the fifteenth day. The quantities have to do with their representations of the future representing the “hope” for God’s children, through remembering their past, and how God cares for them, and now us.

We were given a small book when we visited a Messianic assembly called, Who Is Israel? Redeemed Israel A Primer which explains the sticks thoroughly. I found a downloadable pdf file of the book online athttp://www.messianicisrael.com/pdfs/samples/primer.pdf

The online version is a bit shorter than the book but the main information should be there.

We begin with Numbers 29:12-16 as God says; “And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:”
Keep in mind that the “Passover Sabbath” was also on the fifteenth day of the first month, and is in relation to the first full day that Jesus was in the tomb. This was the beginning of the “New Testament” according to Hebrews 9:16-17. The proof that the fifteenth is a Sabbath day is counted backwards from the day of rest mentioned in Numbers 29:35 where it says “On the eighth day (twenty-second day) ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:” In reading this closely with other previous verses, we know that this eighth day is determined by the first day of the “Feast of Tabernacles” beginning on the fifteenth day of the month. The fifteenth day, plus seven more days equal twenty-one days, making the eighth day the twenty-second day of the month. We know that the “Feast of Unleavened Bread” in the first month falls on the same day as the “Feast of Tabernacles” in the seventh month.
Continuing with the understanding of the lambs, and rams on day fifteen through the twenty-first day, their quantities do not change as does the number of Bullocks throughout the “Feast of Tabernacles,” according to Leviticus 23:34-42. Nevertheless all the quantities are different from those of the first fourteen days of the month. Beginning with the fourteen lambs, we have to recognize that these are the sons of Jacob whom God later named Israel. Right off, one might say that there are only twelve tribes of Israel. By counting Joseph’s two sons, Ephraim, and Manasseh, and adding them to the twelve sons of Jacob, we can see who represents the fourteen lambs. The quantities of fourteen represent “deliverance, and salvation.”
To understand the two patriarch rams, one only needs to understand that Joshua, and Caleb were the only two over the age of twenty during the exodus that entered into the promised land forty years later. The reason was because they knew they could conquer it against all odds because God said they could, and it was that faith that brought them through. In relation, it is important that these two patriarchs come from the key tribes of Judah and Ephraim. Numbers 13:6 and 8 gives this information as we read “Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Of the tribe of Ephraim, Oshea the son of Nun.” Oshea was renamed Jehoshua (Joshua) by Moses in Numbers 13:16. “These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.” This is important to know because of the prophecy of the millennial reign of Christ in Ezekiel 37:16-19 where it says; “Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.” The quantity of two defines “union, division, and witnessing. Taking these things into consideration, the fourteen lambs, and the two rams represent past, present, describing God’s predestined plan for all mankind, since the beginning of time.
Now we address the sequence of days, and the decline in the number of bullocks offered as each day passes during the “Feast of Tabernacles” beginning on the fifteenth day of the seventh month. This decrease in number exemplifies the sequence of events of God’s divine plan, and finally being completed in Christ Jesus. This was surely a blessing to me, and I sincerely hope it will be to you also because the seventh day of the feast ends with seven bullocks on the twenty-first day of the seventh month.

I hope this helps with the two sticks Kitten. This is past Israel divided and future kingdom united. Next are the 13 Bullocks.

1[SUP]st[/SUP] day=15[SUP]th[/SUP] of the month, being a Sabbath day Numbers 29:12-16 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of the two rams,
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.
Along with these other offerings that are given during these seven days we will concentrate on the bullocks. We have already addressed the lambs and rams, and their meanings, knowing their relevance, as they are also offered each day for seven days. So day fifteen of the first month is Passover and is also the beginning of the “Feast of Unleavened Bread.” Day fifteen is the first full day that Jesus was in the tomb, and day fifteen of this seventh month is the beginning of the “Feast of Tabernacles. So we ask ourselves; why thirteen bullocks, and what does thirteen represent? One can relate it to what Jesus carried in His body while on the cross of Calvary. We begin to look at this day and the following six days from three perspectives defined by Hebrew letters and numbers. Obviously the number “thirteen” is prevalent, but we also should look into the meaning of the number “fifteen” for this particular day of the month. Last, but not least, the first letter, and the number one represents the first day of the “Feast of Tabernacles.”
The number 1 represents unity, and new beginnings.
The 1[SUP]st[/SUP] letter means strong powerful leader.
The number 13 represents “Apostasy, depravity, rebellion.
The 13[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means chaos, water, and blood that are mighty.
The number 15 represents rest.
The 15[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means grab, hate, and protect.
With six more days to look forward to we begin to recognize a process of events about ready to take place.
1. It is important for us to understand that the Father and the Son planned these chronological events before they were instituted to mankind.
13. The law entered because of transgression.
15. The believer in Christ Jesus enters into His rest, ceasing from their own works, and is protected from those things God the Father detests, known as sins.

2[SUP]nd[/SUP] day=16[SUP]th[/SUP] of the month: Numbers 29:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:
In this scripture, the symbol of the number twelve represent “Governmental perfection.” There are twelve tribes of Israel, twelve stones in the breastplate of the priest representing these tribes, and twelve disciples called to continue the ministry of Christ after His ascension. There are also twelve stones in the foundation of the New Jerusalem. There were laws given to Israel for them to be able to govern themselves. By these instructions they had freedom from other countries, and by these instructions in righteousness, were able to prosper, living in peace and security.
The number 2 represents union, division, and witnessing
The 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] letter means a family, a house of shelter from the outside elements. A door.
The number 12 represents governmental perfection
The 12[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means to teach, yoke, and bind
The number 16 represents love
The 16[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means to watch, know, and shade like the gourd shading Jonah 4:6
2. Stop being united with self will, but rather be united with the family of God being evidenced by past events as a shelter from world values as represented by Egypt.
12. Continue to be connected with the perfection in Christ Jesus, and bound to the divine plan by every Word that God has ever spoken, not by self-works, but by faith.
16. We are ministers of the love of God, and love for our neighbors and enemies. This kind of love should be to shed light on darkness with a discerning heart, wanting all to be separated from anything that might alienate them from the presence of God.

3[SUP]rd[/SUP] day=17[SUP]th[/SUP] of the month: Numbers 29:20 (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;
It is clear that the progression of events, ordained by God from the beginning of time, is imperative for all to be fulfilled in Christ Jesus. Peter, who was with Jesus, Elijah, and Moses on the Mount of Transfiguration wrote this, recorded in 2 Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” This day is clearly a representation of God’s mercy toward those who trust and believe in all His Words. It is also obvious that our heavenly Father reserves judgment for those that intentionally despise and reject His instructions. For the sake of comparing “spiritual with spiritual,” such as 1 Corinthians 2:13 says, I will quote Genesis 8:4 that reads “And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.” Fascinating, isn’t it?
The number 3 represents divine completeness and perfection
The 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] letter means gather and walk
The number 11 represents disorder and judgment
The 11[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means bend, open, allow, and tame, as the human reciprocation to God’s perfect love, instructions, and directions.
The number 17 represents victory
The 17[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means God’s word that is given, and distributed by the persuasions of His breath, being the Holy Spirit.
3. Knowing that this would be the last day that our Lord Jesus Christ was in the grave, it is certainly a blessing to know that our Lord, and Savior is united as One with the Father, and Spirit. The plan from the beginning was manifested with the Israelites then, and completed in Christ now.
11. Our maturity and faith is increased when we allow God’s righteous judgment to destroy our carnal nature, and mold us into His divine nature.
17. We have victory in Jesus adhering to the Spiritual persuasions given in the law, and the prophets, and we enter into His rest, ceasing from our own works. (Hebrews 4:10)

4[SUP]th[/SUP] day=18[SUP]th[/SUP] of the month: Numbers 29:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:
The eighteenth day of the first month is when Christ rose from the dead, being the mediator of the New Testament. This also gives us a picture of Israel’s escape from their four hundred and thirty years of captivity in the Egyptian Empire, and also includes ourselves as escaping the slavery to sin, and escaping from the world’s values through Christ. We are still here on this earth, but we are not in the world’s kingdom of depravity. Galatians 3:19 “Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
The number 4 represents creation, the world, and creative works, not representing the first day of creation, still it does represent dividing the light from darkness. (Genesis 1:18)
The 4[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means to move to the door, and enter in
The number 10 represents testimony, the law, and the responsibilities” as instructions given by God to Israel.
The 10[SUP]th[/SUP] letter means to worship the giver, and work according to His will.
The number 18 represents bondage.
The 18[SUP]th[/SUP] letter represents a trail to follow, as a journey, to chase, and to hunt.
4. God created a way for us to be acceptable in His sight through His ordinances. He gave us the gift of the faith so we could believe that blood sacrifice was the door of acceptance.
10. There is good reason for the law that God gave. We worship Him by acknowledging that every word he has ever spoken has relevance unto this present day in our own lives.
18. We are enslaved to the environment that we are born into. Through Christ, we have been given a road to follow. (Matthew 7:14) “Strait” means “obstacles” necessary for us to confront. They stand in front of the open door God has provided. Obstacles that cause “tough straits.”
