That all Christian’s are united….even under the same Jesus; but I’m not seeing the same gospel.

We are only united when we all do His will; I don’t see this today.

So, what is untrue about what I said, not in what YOU said. Does Paul not say anyone who doesn’t have the Holy Spirit is not a Christian? (Rom. 8:9)

Saul Paul wrote this letter to the church at Ephesus about being unified in Christ.

This letter, like all letters in the NT, pertains to us today; we can apply everything written to our needs today, because nothing has changed. The churches from 2000 yrs ago were our examples, written for our benefit.
Yes the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, hasn't changed at all in the past 2000 years. It still has the same power and authority as it did in the first century.
I was trying to make the point that some interpret letters that were written to people like Timothy (a born again Christian) and apply it to all 2 billion nominal Christians today. That approach doesn't take into consideration that most of these are actually unbelievers.

The problem is that the Romans feared ALL gods, they did not distinguish between "true" and "false" gods. And your ignorance about Jewish temples is one of the problems with traditional Christian teachings. Archeology and historic records indicate that there were at least 5 Jewish temples over the centuries, most often with at least two existing at the same time, the official Jerusalem one and a second one somewhere else that the official temple did not condemn, but rather cordially communicated with.
You make these wild claims, but you fail to provide your source of information. It sounds like something a sect or cult would teach.
I have a friend who believes the earth is flat, but he got his information from self proclaimed experts.

No, GW teaches that there is only one church/body of Christ, which includes all saved souls, past, present and future.

Isn’t spiritual unity amazing?!
No, that's not true. The Church is not united, it's actually fragmented into millions and maybe billions of people who don't even know each other exists. So your talking nonsense here.

The Bride has not been betrayed to the Bridegroom yet, that's a future even which may be thousands of years away.

How do you know who the true believers are, you simply can't know now because your pastor may be a Judas Iscariot. So you have no way of knowing who is in Christ and who is a child of the Devil.

I see exactly where you are coming from journey man
The only way to "know" them is by their fruits
In truth I don't know any Christians well enough to know if there is fruit or not
The main thing I can do
Is not to judge
But I'm definitely called to decern
But not really spending time with someone even this is very difficult
So what do I do?
I thank God that I know for sure that I'm regenerate
And continue the daily battle within
Knowing that I'm not necessarily being judged by my actions
But that God is more interested in the state of my heart

This is not necessarily true. People can be decieved by false doctrine and theology from the the Bible, and yet repent when Scripture reveals God's truth to us personally.

Afterall, Paul the apostle was Saul of Tarsus:

Ti 1:13
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

And there were many decieved by the false doctrine of the Jews, that supported the crucifixion of Jesus, who later repented at hearing the truth of His words:

Acts 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?...Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

It's only when God clearly pierces our hearts with His Scriptural truth, that we are then fully responsible for our own rebellion, if we repent not, but go on believing and living a lie:

2Th 2:10
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Thank you for making that distinction between true believers and false professors and outright unbelievers.
If you are saved, then I don't need to know your history to know that you were a sinner just like the rest of unregenerate mankind.

1 Corinthians 6:11 speaks about the sinful lives of born again believers, before our conversion.
1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
The phrase "and such were some of you" is a powerful affirmation of sovereign grace, radical transformation, and the doctrine of justification by faith alone. Following a list of unrighteous behaviour's that will not inherit the kingdom of God (verses 9–10), Paul reminds believers that their identity is no longer defined by their past or sinful nature, but by their standing in Christ.

Everyone is born spiritually dead and slaves to sin. The list of sins (fornicators, idolaters, thieves, etc.) represents the total depravity of the human heart. Paul is not saying they were "a little better" than others, but that they were, in fact, unrighteous, fitting the description of those who cannot enter heaven.

The "but" in verse 11 is critical. It signifies an act of God, not a self-improvement project. Salvation is entirely God’s work, whereby He calls and regenerates the sinner, making them willing and able to repent and believe.

Here's something we definitely agree on
Salvation is a work of God
My experience is that many years ago
When my ego driven life had imploded
I was in a desolate place of absolute desperation
Jesus rescued me from myself
And placed His Spirit within my heart
That changed everything
Had I repented
Yes
But that didn't save me
It merely cleared the woods a bit
But myself from beginning to end was/is entirely a work of God
Even my repentance was a gift from Him
Otherwise there'd be room to boast
Which my understanding leaves non

You should be we. As for me, I feel perfectly one with Abraham and all fellow believers. Sorry you feel fragmented.

In 1 Corinthians 2:15 & 5:12-13 Paul states that "the Christian judges all things" and instructs the church to judge those within the church community, maintaining purity in doctrine and behaviour. That's what it means to judge them by their fruits.

Your testimony is the gospel in a nutshell. Most Churches don't preach the true gospel, because it can't be monetised.
I was raised in a Roman Catholic family, where my parents paid our parish priests to dedicate the mass for our friends and relatives who may be experiencing sickness or other trials and tribulations.

Looking back now, I can see the futility of dedicating mass to persuade God to intervene and heal the person or liberate them from slavery to some kind of addiction. The gospel heals the spirit, so believers can be filled with joy in the midst of our trials and tribulations.

I too was raised in the catholic faith
It did and does have many positive aspects also
But as a regenerate person I couldn't go back there
The whole Mary thing really frustrated me

I meant to say "betrothed" or espoused, which means that believers are currently engaged to the Lord Jesus. The Church is currently His Bride, but we will be formally joined to Him at the great marriage supper of the lamb.

I've never met Abraham or any of the fellow believers from thousands of years ago. The Church is currently fragmented into 49,000 Christian Denominations, sorry to hear you weren't aware of that fact.

Catholics are accepted by almost everyone, and Christians are hated by almost everyone. The Lord Jesus said In John 15:18 ("If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first") this is a guarantee that believers, chosen out of the world by sovereign grace, will face inevitable opposition. This hatred arises because true Christians are no longer part of the system of rebellion against God.

The world’s hatred is a consequence of Christ choosing His people "out of the world". This separation means Christians have a new allegiance, causing friction with the worldly system.

You also make very wild claims. I base my claims on well-documented history. I merely do not have the time or patience to spoon feed you everything that you should have learned with a decent education.

As for the church being consistent with their teachings, I suppose that is why the Council of Nicaea in 325 directly contradicted earlier councils and was in turn contradicted by later, better attended and more representative councils, only to be defended as a "greater" council which could not be contradicted as it was attended (likely dictated) by the emperor (who at the time was still a pagan) by a bishop who used thugs to assist in controlling his diocese and who also clearly overstated his own importance at Nicaea (his status there did not permit him to speak, yet he claimed to have given a marvelous speech that swayed everyone).

As for me, I consult experts widely recognized within Christian circles, quite possibly people who you admire and whose works you read. But they are awaiting my completed work, having only been made aware of fragments that they find truly insightful and inspired if damning to human based tradition.

By the way, why are you not jumping on those who attack me by contradicting clear scripture if you are such a defender of truth?

The Christian faith is the true catholic or worldwide church or body of Christ.
Roman Catholicism became a corrupt cult when it began persecuting people during the Inquisition, which was not officially ended until Vatican II about 1964.

Weren’t they responsible for the Crusades? This wasn’t biblical.

The true believers follow the NT pattern, only….

If you know the NT Scripture then you will know who is teaching the correct gospel.

But have you looked into why the Roman Catholics are so well received as opposed to many Protestant denominations? In the USA, Roman Catholics were not well received until after the Civil War. During the Civil War a high percentage of the doctors and nurses were Roman Catholics who acted to help the wounded without regards to which side they were on. The soldiers who received such help remembered. Today we see far more Roman Catholic charities operating in many third world countries providing aid without preaching attached. The people receiving the aid distinguish between aid given because it is the right thing to do and aid given as part of an evangelism program. Jesus fed and healed people because the people needed it, not to promote Himself.
