If you study Ezekiel, you will find that the Spirit of God left the temple (and Jerusalem).

A little study of Acts chapter 2 might be in order as well.

Hope this helps.

Right.

Now to the 'why'.

Because a New Covenant, based on better promises, had been ratified by the Blood of Christ, Who also serves as the New Covenant's permanent, Perfect High Priest - FOREVER.

The Old Covenant is obsolete as a functioning covenantal system.

You are not keeping the Law as God gave it, but a law of your own creation.

If you are in Christ, you DIED to the Law:

Romans 7:4-6
4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. 6 But now we have been >>>
delivered G2673 – katargeō<<< from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

G2673 – katargeō
is translated as both ‘abolished’ in Eph. 2:15 and as ‘delivered’ in Rom. 7:6.

Here’s the definition:

G2673 – katargeō

1) to render idle, unemployed, inactivate, inoperative

a) to cause a person or thing to have no further efficiency
b) to deprive of force, influence, power

2
) to cause to cease, put an end to, do away with, annul, abolish

a) to cease, to pass away, be done away
b) to be severed from, separated from, discharged from, loosed from any one
c) to terminate all intercourse with one

That’s talking about the Law for those in Christ, folks!

The Law, for those in Christ, is these things:

➞ idle
➞ unemployed
➞ inactive (!!!)
➞ inoperative (!!!)
➞ to cause a person to have no further efficiency
➞ to deprive of force, influence, power (!!!)
➞ to cause to cease, put an end to, do away with, annul, abolish (!!!)
➞ to cease, to pass away, be done away (!!!)
➞ to be severed from, separated from, discharged from, loosed from any one (!!!)
➞ to terminate all intercourse with one (!!!)

Please reconsider your relationship to the Law based on what the Scriptures say after the Work of Christ.

Thank you saints for chiming in and not being cruel but pointing to the temple not being there to observe it right.
There is no rebuttal to this fact. Maybe the law observers have a heart to please God but it is a wasted effort if there is no temple. Even the daily sacrifices are not ment which started Daniel's 70th week countdown.
The Lord is looking for a temple not built with hands. This should throw red flags up as Israel is in preparation to build another temple and institute the old ways.
Jesus being conceived by the holy spirit is that temple without hands, we being born again not of men but of God are the bricks in that temple.
It is God's desire that all repent, for the sinner to turn from sin, for the law observers to turn from the law, for the proud to turn from there pride, for the Lord will return not as the lamb but as the lion, who can stand.
The Lord said "hear my son" and Jesus said "follow me". The time of grace is upon us, but it will expire soon. Who will be found in the book of life?

21 Then they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth: 22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
23 But He perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test Me?[d] 24 Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?”
They answered and said, “Caesar’s.”
25 And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

The question dear saints is who's image are you?

And the Lord said " let us make man in our image".

An extra little teaching about the Feasts of YHVH:

you know, sometimes it is difficult to accept that our form of religion may contain error.
once we get past the pride thing, it really gets better!!

Michael Rood, of 'A Rood Awakening', who roasted a lamb, skewered it on an 'execution stake', put a crown atop the 'stake', and paraded it through the assembly for Passover:

A blasphemous act by any measure .

Here's the video, in case anyone thinks the pics are doctored:

Even Torah folk were appalled at Michael Rood's actions.

to judge all by the actions of a few is NOT righteous judgment

Michael Rood was put forth as a teacher of the Law by another poster.

Having good judgment is not passing judgement, it is discernment.

Michael Rood is a 'founding father' in the modern Hebrew Roots Movement. Like it or not, much HRM doctrine was disseminated by him to those who you may feel are more 'balanced' teachers of the Law.

But truthfully, the error is the same. Michael's flair for the dramatic carried him away, propelled by a blasphemous, anti-christ spirit.

Michael Rood is not perfect.
But, knowing what I know now, I will take his teaching over any man that celebrates the dec25 ritual.

Tell me, disciplemike, how do you compare the Roman Catholic crucifix to Michael Rood's Passover spectacle? Are you willing to extend the same deference to them in their error as you do to Michael Rood, since none of them are perfect?

sister, in my opinion, the Roman Catholic Church brought your dec25 celebration and your sun-god worship..
The Pope is on your side, not mine.

So you won't answer the question?

And can you provide evidence, from here or my site, where I engage in sun-god worship?

That's a rather serious allegation you make.

Now post proof, or an apology.

no apology this time ma'am.
it don't take much research to find where the dec25 ritual came from.

now, if you tell me you don't observe the dec25 fiasco, then yes, I will apologize for that.

Who sacrifices daily? The RCC. Same Sun worship Ezekiel saw. Jesuit pope, Jesuit colleges, I.H.S.

When will it go away? In due time as prophesied. Already a merging with Eastern Orthodox and a hand holding of Islam. Is there something Adonai or Roman that we missed in scripture? Some have eyes to see and ears to hear. For some it is not given.

Yonah give me a break, is this how God wants his son to be recognized? You can't see that?

did I say I agree with this? well?
all I was saying is to judge all who believe some of the things does not mean they believe them all... I do not agree with some of the HRM teachings (not all are in error) and this man or anyone who misrepresents the character of the messiah I do not agree with, ive seen his teachings and do not hold to all of them, I follow our Savior not man ANY man . so you infer that I agree with this and you are wrong

I am with you in this. I too don't agree with any teacher in everything that they say - no matter who they are. I pray to the Lord that I will not agree with myself in 2 years in everything I believe about the Lord and His great salvation now. I hope to repent as I see new truths about the Lord Jesus. There is no greater revelation than in knowing Him and the Father for who they truly are.

Teachers are anointed to teach in certain areas and when they go off what they are anointed to teach on - they can get off in some things. I wouldn't call then heretics because of this as they are not violating the gospel of the grace of Christ in what they are doing.

I heard a man say one time when asked about the end times. He said.." I can give you what I believe about the end times - but I don't know whether it is true or not. God sent me and anointed me to teach on faith and how to be led by the Holy Spirit." - I liked this man's answer as it shows maturity in his calling and his humbleness to know he could be wrong in some areas too.

I knew you were smarter than this, thankyou

ok, so the froward kind jump in.
maybe someone could leave a book about Holy Days under your tree on Dec25.

In my opinion, Messiah has shown us a fulfillment of the Spring Feasts: Passover/Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost.

I wonder what it will be like when He returns to fulfill the Fall Feasts: Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles.
Could be a worthwhile study if you have never done it.
I could be wrong, of course.

my understanding of Gods 7 Holy convocations where

Roman Year 2016

- First Day of Gods Sacred Year- Apr. 9

*Passover - Apr. 22

Days of ULB - Apr. 23-29

Pentecost [first fruits]-June 12

-

Feast of Trumpets -Oct. 3

Day of Atonement - Oct. 12

*Feast of Tabernacles - Oct. 17-23

Last Great Day -Oct. 24

-

yes a worthwhile study

Didn't read the thread but it did inspire me to research more.

Rosh HaShanah Customs | ReformJudaism.org

During the Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe), usually on the first day of Rosh HaShanah, it is a tradition to go to a nearby body of water and symbolically cast away one's sins or wrongdoings from the past year in a ceremony called Tashlich. One usually tosses bread crumbs into the water. When done with members of a synagogue, this is usually done in the afternoon. The ritual is usually accompanied by the recitation of verses from Micah and Psalms. According to Micah 7:19, “God will take us back in love; God will cover up our iniquities, You will hurl all our sins into the depths of the sea.”
