But you will find faults with many many churches. It is almost impossible to find a church which teaches, where ever single thing they teach is the truth. Many good churches have a few small things wrong. But to your general question, the Bible says no, so that means not okay.

When looking for a new church family, the wisest course of action is always to pray first...wait upon Him to guide you path and lead you to where He knows you need to be, (prov. 3:5-6) once you do this and you know He has lead you there, don't concern yourself so much with what is wrong, but rather partake of the good He has for you and be a blessing to others as the opportunity arises.

This issue has been extensively debated both here and elsewhere. Those of us who believe that women can be pastors have good reasons for believing as we do. However, rather than try to convince you, I'll only say this: do your own homework, and don't be convinced either way by simplistic arguments or appeals to fear.
Are there any women teachers/pastors in CC? Are there any women teachers that teach men in an open congregation? Or are in any kind of a leadership role in their local assembly?
Let's hear their thoughts on this subject.

You will not likely get a straight answer as some people are for it and others are against it, honestly the way i see it is god will use whoever he desires for any of his purposes. I mean imagine your in front of God and you are complaining about this women being a pastor in the church and Fathers replies in a stern tone who are you to decide whom I choose to lead my flock? that is just the scenario that comes to my mind. Honestly regardless of sex when she speaks does she speak the heart of God? does she teach biblically and does she show the light of God in her words? maybe observe her and then decide if it's right or wrong, after all we are to judge by fruits are we not?
No male or female in the Spirit.
My personal preference however, is a man to Pastor. But, who are we to dictate to God who He chooses to shepherd?

The problem comes down to these views:
1) Some are of "The way I see it..." group and then give an hypothesis.
2) Others are solid on The Word, and sound in doctrine, and do it God's way. No women pastors, no authority over the man.

Sometimes it's wrong, sometimes it isn't. It depends if it's led by the Holy Spirit or not. God is sovereign, not the Bible, and no they are not the same thing, or we make the Bible an idol.
But God doesn't want us to forget what he said in the Bible. Jesus shook up a lot of conventional interpretations of previous things God said. So I would apply these: judge a tree by its fruit (matt 7:15-20) and what is not done in faith is sin (Romans 14:23). These can show you the spirit in which the thing is done. The irony is we can have plenty of bad male pastors if we follow them out of fear that all the other ones are against the rules. That's because following all the right rules out of fear is still following fear... not God.
The New Testament has a lot of controversy about specific rules. From healing or harvesting on the sabbath, to eating pork and food sacrificed to idols, women talking in church, death sentences for adulterers and only praying in tongues if there is an interpreter.
I believe we have these stories to show us that the letter of the law is nothing without the spirit of the law, in which it was written. And if it weren't for God's heart toward us, we might be condemned under laws that predate the old testament. So we should not be so quick to throw rules at people. It can be wrong, but it isn't always wrong -- ask God to show you if God is in charge there, if she is leading for God or for herself. Then let it be clear what to do about it. Bless you sister.

I believe this verse is about marriage and instructions for married men and women. Women should submit to their husbands. She will be blessed with children of They continue in faith, love, holiness and self control.
It says woman authority of A man...referring to her husband.

That being said, if you have objections to a female pastor, you should probably pray and ask God if He wants you to stay or find another church?

Is it OK with male pastors

- who mix politics and religion?
- who are either very loving but have little knowledge, or have great knowledge but little love?
If it makes you feel uncomfortable, it is better to find another church, than to end up sitting in that church irritating over the issue
