This is technically my first WORKING car.

This might seem small to some, but this is the last step to be independent and the work that Jesus has done in my life.

All glory, all honor, goes to Him. I’m not an overcomer on my own accord but of His. I overcame abuse from others, I overcame the words spoken over me. I overcame trauma, PTSD. Because HE healed me.

Back in 2014, after graduating Bible college, I was angry, bitter, and I hurt Christians in the process of running away from God. An acclaimed atheist, but the Holy Spirit continued tugging at me.

I tasted His grace, I tasted His love. And this car shows yet again what He’s been doing for me since I came back to Him in 2018.

I am thankful for those who stayed and loved me, even when I attempted to burn a bridge with them. They are the real MVPs and the ones I truly call brothers and sisters in Christ. Inkedshineyourlight_LI.jpg

Pray for those too! He promises to guide us in ALL truth and we know He keeps His promises, He always does for me and we know what He does for one, He will do for another.
A dear friend also mentioned she prays that she not harm any of His creatures as she drives, that is a good one to pray as well.
bless you precious sister in Christ.

I remember.. driving Toyota Corolla.
- in 1980s.
I had a chance to buy a low-mileage Corolla from a co-worker's dad for way inexpensive, but my Echo was
fine... until I was in a couple of accidents LOL. It still runs great but does not look as good as it once did
:giggle:

Toyotas are very dependable cars :) It's all I've been driving since 2000 :D

I have a picture of my first car that I purchased in 1986 while serving in the Navy in Hawaii.

My baby is totaled. Just got it and I had a green arrow and someone rammed into me, totaling it and injuring me in the process. I'm on short-term disability and now going to doctor appointments to help fix my body.

I will miss my car and I appreciate everyone's excitement for me.

Oh my goodness, Shiney, that is terrible!:cry::censored: I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Hopefully your insurance will cover the cost of buying a replacement car?
