You think it is bad just the smell. Try being drunk (on your birthday) cleaning up your friends' puke, while he drank the same thing so you can taste it, plus smell it mixed with vomit. Well hiding all this from your parents. Try not to puke than. It's tough.

well, i'll probably never have to deal with that, cause I hate people who get drunk... I just think it's wrong. A lot of the people in my family are alcoholics and my friend killed himself because he got mixed up with some bad stuff.. drugs and alcohol... so, yeah.. I won't involve myself with alcohol..

I'm not saying you will, I'm just saying that after smelling that it changes your perspective on the smell :( I don't get drunk btw. that is just the past.

Everyone wants vodka here. No clue why. I used to drink that a lot. But I got into Southern Comfort right around the end of my "rebel" stint, lol.

When I was 16 I used to drink bitter and real ale, along with the odd stout. I only got into spirits when I was older and now I'm quite partial to a good single malt scotch, but I like gin as well. The only vodka I've really liked was a good quality Polish one. I put it in the freezer to make it syrupy in texture and a lot smoother. However, I drink my spirits neat as I don't like the contrast between the alcohol and the sweet taste of the mixer.

But times change. Now over here I think teenage lads are mostly into their lager, but they won't turn down a cheap spirit (and I mean cheap). Vile.

Oh I could never stand beer! I find it disgusting! The main reasons everyone here drinks this stuff is simply because they are iaming to get drunk. They don't want to have a few drinks and enjoy themselves, they just want to drink like mad.

Aye. I've never undertood that. To be sure, I've been drunk plenty of times in my youth but that was never the specific aim. The reason we drank was because we enjoyed beer. Over-intoxication resulted frequently, but if even we didn't end up drunk we still had a good time.
 
Ok. I don't plan on ever drinking ever. Just like a personal thing but yeah I find it really disgusting and yeeaaahh. I won't be missing anything. From what I see, alcohol causes problems. I don't wanna be associated with any of that.
I pray for all the kids at my school who are stuck on drugs and alcohol that their not seeing God, cuz they really need him.
And Caleb, I can't believe how God changed you. That is soooo wonderful. Like wow. How'd he do it, cuz that's incredible.

I'd suggest the solution to pissed up youths is to make sensible drinking more normal. We shouldn't forbid alcohol absolutely until they reach a prescribed age, as that only encourages rebellion and drinking in secret and fosters a culture of it being 'cool' to get rat arsed because they've never learnt to drink responsibly.
 
yeah, I know that, my point kinda was... why is alcholo legal and.. other equally dangerous/ "not dangerous" substances illegal?
