All sabbaths, the weekly rests, the special rests, are teaching models for the resurrection and afterward.
Each one teaches a different aspect. Like passover illustrating an end of slavery.
All sabbaths are "lasts"
So how I keep that, what I embrace about it, is supposed to be set apart. It is supposed to be a different kind of thing to look forward to than every day leading up to it.
These are who will rest on it -
God
Me
family
manservant, maidservant, ox, ass, cattle, stranger within gates
Salvation causes me to keep it properly, and that keeping does not have to be physical, though it helps in understanding.
Today, I hauled building materials for my mom and aunt, but put off actually building anything for later. I cleaned my kitchen. I purposely overslept. I didn't worry about a bill that is due today. I still kept the sabbath, even though by God's calendar, the next four sabbaths are on tuesday, tuesday, tuesday and wednesday.
Proper understanding of it did not save me, but was a part of defining salvation.

Think about it, did God create a race and call it Israel because God decided to be different for just these few people? Do you think God made a little pocket of a world and told the rest of the world to stay away, it had nothing to do with them? Do you think that God doesn't care a wit for you, that God is dedicated to just one group of people? In the book of Romans it tries to explain to us about all this complicated way God worked out redemption for us and what our place in it is.

so you wanna know what God did because of this? he died for our sins and salvation so that when we accept him we RECEIVE AN ENTIRELY NEW NATURE that is all that is required of us TO ACCEPT christ change our nature in christ Jesus if you really understood this a word about sabbath wouldn't even come out of your mouth because you would know exactly what this means, i'm still waiting for an anwser if possible
Shew me a scripture where God instructed anybody else other than the House of Israel to honour their parents please shew me

do you see gentile here or children of God here? i'm still waiting for that scripture that proves to me we must follow the sabbath
why wouldn't any honour their parents and besides the fruits of the spirit would never let any be disrespectful to their parents

you also should not want the promises to Abraham etc because hey according to you God only spoke to Israel

it's far from unstable and it's the truth God spoke directly to israel the bible clearly state so and when this matter is address it goes back to israel why not everyone? or the Son of God why just the house of israel? and don't say we are the house of israel all we did was gain the common wealth of israel through the holy spirit another verse to prove my point... 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
could you shew me a verse where the command to honouring your parents were given before the law at Mt Sinai

Was Israelites alone at Mt sinai when God spoke ?
This mess is because of what the modern day churches do though it's exactly as the scripture said they would do kick Jesus out of the church, so how are people suppose to be filled with the holy spirit to experience salvation, if many people throughly experienced salvation we would not even be talking about this right now, the holy spirit turned my entire life upsided down that is why i cannot agree with that after seeing what God has done for me, look i was once a sinful person i didn't care about anything like this i never went to church or read the bible for years but immediately after i accept christ in my life a miracle happen before my eyes right away that is the power of salvation I COULD NOT HELP MYSELF BUT LIVE A GODLY and righteous life i literally could not help myself i spent over $500 bucks at that time recently on some clothes that were pretty sinful but i couldn't help myself but throw it away i couldn't help myself but to pray for women that dress half naked i couldn't help myself but to preach the gospel if people truely understood the power of salvation we wouldn't be in this mess at all
