For Sabbath keepers, How does obedience to the Sabbath affect your Salvation

After much study of scripture, I believe that to follow what God asks about "keep the Sabbath" we use the day to live out complete faith in Him. God says to take care of our responsibilities (work) for six days. When God says to rest in Him those days, it is misinterpreting God to say that it means we aren't to be productive. For the Sabbath, it is an attitude of trusting so completely in God we don't work for ourselves.

As far as what this has to do with salvation, I think we have to first accept that salvation is only in God's hands. It is a personal covenant between a person and God. God gives it freely, our part in this covenant is to repent. That means we are to be honest with ourselves and God, listen to what God wants of us, and do our best to walk in the path God lays out and repent when we find we haven't. It requires faith in all God is and says. With this in mind, God lays out a path for us of honoring the Sabbath as one part of this.

There are many other things about walking with God to understand, and many people have brought them up as a reason not to listen to God about the Sabbath. I don't think there is one other thing we are to understand about God that, even though we follow what God says, results in refusing to listen to God's instruction to "keep the Sabbath".

Now that comment is absolutely reaching.

Who has said one is not allowed to do good on the Sabbath? Certainly not our Savior, Yeshua. This remark too is an accusation.

Again, if anyone says they observe the Sabbath on Sunday, what differnce is there? Oh! Right, the difference is the day was changed by men, not by the Word of Yahweh.

Please stop with the accusations, veiled or otherwise, because those posting who believe the Father on the Sabbath are not accusing anyone who observes it another day.

People using, and I say USING, the saying "I will give you rest" should look up the difference of the word used here and Shabbat...........it is distinct in the original. Also, Jesus stated this in reference to His teaching as opposed to the teaching of the hypocrites.

Well keep looking to what you can do and Ignore what God has done for you. Feel blessed and fortify your flesh. I mean thats why you call Him Yeshua right because your flesh tingles when you do. It say's I no something that no else does and pats your back. Intellect or faith, my faith is in Jesus and not what day I go to church.
 
Sounds to me like you are saying because I believe in obeying God, I am committing works.

When Adam sinned did He tell Him to keep Sabbath? Did He say keep this feast? did He say observe 40 days of purpose? Tell me Jack, what did He do?
 
The Sabbath was given to Adam and Eve and all mankind so that they would never sin, it is the power of God unto righteous living by an intimate relationship with God. Eve didnt listen. now that we are sinners it is critical to have the Sabbath to be sanctified (created new creature) Sabbath is central for new creatio n to have power over satan to beat all his temptations. Without it you are helpless to keep falling and falling and falling, hence the doctrines that man can never stop sinning

keeping sunday was invented by satan in babylon at the tower of Babel so that man will have no power to be sanctified.
Most christians dont even know what being sanctified means and even proclaim sanctification is "works" They cannot be part of the 144,000

You will not make it throught the plagues the seven plages that HAVE STARTED ALREADY, you will not and cannot survive without the Sabbath
keeping sunday you will fail in resisting satan, and he knows it
144,000 will be sanctified, and the rest will die, that is about 6 billion

Sabbathkeepers will definitely be in the minority.
They will be one in a million
there are only one in a million that believe the Bible and follow every word any more

it is very easy if you keep Sabbath everyone could do it, all 6 billion
But the devil tricked tham and Revelation says:
The false antichrist decieved the WHOLE WORLD who wandered after the beast, vicarius Fillii Dei (Vicar of God which means "ME, INSTEAD OF CHRIST" the false chrst and the whole world wondered after the beast and did not keep the commandments of God

I am shocked that now, the Majority of christians now think keeping the commandments are self righteous works! this is insane. Every church used to teach keeping the commandments was essentil only 60 years ago when I was a boy

Sabbath is my salvation!
Sabbath is JESUS in the heart it is our wedding day, it is the time we spend together, so go ahead an d kill me for wanting to be together with Jesus on the day he told me to be with him
everyone else can go into spiritual adultery but I will follow the word of God, Jesus my eternal crator
and, the reason I do not and will never keep sunday, is because I dont want to worship satan, he invented it in 321 AD by pagan constantine.

so that is why I keep the Sabbath it is the power of God unto salvation by the completion of christ in me the hope of glory
you cannot have a relationship that imparts power to overcome sins victoriously if you keep sunday and you will die. if yo have a good heart and the spirit is leading you, about one in a million, says revelation, you will read your Bible and follow Jesus, otherwise, you will take the RFID chip in the hand and the criteriaa will be
"Are you for Sabbath or Sunday?"

Why do preachers not preach the cross, because the cross offends the flesh and people will leave so they come up with fads to pay the bills. Such as a 21 day fast, or forty days of purpose or falling out or prayer shawls and so forth. It is and only will be the cross.

How do you separate Keeping the Messiah's Word and Faith in the "cross"? (you have stated what you mean by this in another thread)

Okay, the word said that a sacrifice must be placed on the brazen altar. The word said that the priest must place blood on the mercy seat once a year. Do you agree with that?
 
It is a shame to be obligated to reply to such word wrapping. Rather than simple words to the point on any given subject we get back new interpretations.............but not of the Holy Spirit. Keep up the good works, though you will be accused of trying to earn your way to the Kingdom.

Can you imagine, had the Apostles adhered to what people are telling us here, they would never have done any works, and the Word would have remaind in Israel!

Those things served purpose until the New Covenant.
