So I'm not seeing how you disagree. How is not lying in a spiritual sense any different than not lying in a worldly sense? How is committing adultery in a spiritual sense any different than in a worldly sense? As well as worshiping idols? Is that ok in a physical sense? Which one of the ten commandments is not the same in a physical sense as a spiritual sense?
The fact is that without the spiritual connection to Christ, the physical sense is just not going to happen. I would think that would mean if we love Christ and accept Him as our Lord and savior; and hence, are now spiritually oriented, we'll desire all that much more to do what He says, which is to keep His commandments if we love Him.

appoligise to be typing here again, seeing I am still sinner and destined for HELL, EXCEPT!!!!! What if God saves me? Will I go to hell or heaven? What is the difference between one person God saves and one God does not save? Since we are all sinners, or are we? Is every person here on earth a sinner?
It looks like that, but then there is NO HOPE AT ALL….. Not for ONE PERSON…. And I am the proof that there is HOPE…. Hope for what? Hope that God will save me…. Here is a fact…. God calls ONLY THE RIGHTEOUSS HIS CHILDREN…. And God says the righteous is as sinless (without sin) as HE IS WITHOUT SIN…. 1 John 3:7… God says… Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

What is the difference of a saved man and an unsaved man. It starts with God’s PREDESTINATION…. Every saved man is destined to be God’s Child even BEFORE THE EARTH WAS FORMED. So God destined His Children before they even sinned. And make no mistake MANY of God’s children will sin. One two or a thousand times. Since one sin is enough to make a person a sinner, God will have to save the person with one sin and the one with one million sins. But the result of the two is EXACTLY the same…
Paul was the chief of the saved sinners…. This means Paul propably was the worst sinner the world will EVER know, but GOD SAVED HIM. So it also makes Paul the chief of SAVED SINNERS. Paul would be the person that God showed the most GRACE to in the world. But without Paul’s knowledge God had Paul written in the BOOK OF LIFE, and as an APOSTLE for the Gentiles God had Paul destined.
Now here is the fact. If Zone is destined to be a child of God, God’s SALVATION will make Zone a child. If I am NOT destined to be a child of God, I WILL NOT BE SAVED! God’s salvation will NOT MAKE ME A NEW CREATURE. I will remain a OLD MAN, but Zone NOT! Zone will be REBORN to the IMAGE OF JESUS. I will not be born of God. I will be born of flesh, and REMAIN IN THE FLESH. I will die in my sin.
But not the predestined Zone…. God destined her to be CONFORMED to the likeness and the FULNESS of Christ Jesus. In perfect obedience and perfect holiness, like ALL who are saved. There is only ONE level of holiness…. God’s! There are no other. God said be holy for I am holy… You either are as holy as God or not! There is no other. Oh Satan wants to have you believe there is more, but there ARE NOT!
Now let’s finish… If Zone was destined to be God’s child this is what GOD does with her…. God predestined her to be….. As holy as He is, right here on earth…. As perfect as He is, that is why she would be BORN OF HIM, and not herself again… To be a NEW creature recreated in the LIKENESS of Christ Jesus…. Zone will be with God, and I will see her come down from heaven with Christ to judge me and other angels. And I will bend my knee, and receive my fate.
For those that are IN CHRIST are already in GOD! Jesus asked the Father that in a prayer…. John 17. Every saved soul is made ONE WITH GOD… in true holiness. His holiness…. They all DID put on the NEW MAN…. Eph 4:24… the sinner CANNOT put on this man. A sinner is NOT created in righteousness, but in EVIL….
Eph 4:24….And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

This post really made me think yesterday. I know it is supposed to be about people who do NOT sin, but it provoked me to think about my sins. Since my vacation, I found I had grown cold in my love for God. Well, not cold, but distant. So last night I repented and prayed and dug deep in my Bible.
So I thank Zone for making me examine my heart.
I also think the theology of the "now but not yet" really is a part of this. We are dead to sin in the spirit according to the Bible right "now". (Judicially, as it was pointed out!) But we still live in these bodies of flesh, and so we are "not yet" perfect.
As the much quoted 1 John also says, the day we will be sinless or perfect, is when we see Christ face to face.
"Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appearswe shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2
When I was trapped in the Arminian lie, trying to live legalistically and failing, this verse brought me great hope. It helped me to move forward, secure in the knowledge that the Holy Spirit was transforming me, and to know that God is going to make me sinless and like Christ when he returns.

Dead to Sin, Alive to God

The Wages of Sin
(1 Peter 3:14-22)

Jesus is the END to all sin.... Great post Vic, and se how God saves PERFECTLY....
Here is the beauty of it all.... Even when I was a sinner, God had OTHER plans for my life.... HIS WILL IN ME... AS IT IS DONE IN HEAVEN.... how is God's will done in heaven... HE THREW OUT THE SINNER..... OUT, to NEVER return... WOW what a powerful saviour God is...
Crossnote, the first words God spoke to man AFTER he took Adam out of the garden, God said the same 1 John says, and the WHOLE Bible is one message.... Turn from evil to God! So 1 John is just the book that says it best. Do you believe 1 John 3:9? And 1 John 5:18? Do you believe and KNOW that whosoever is born of God SINNETH NOT? But he is begotten of God and he KEEPETH HIMSELF... WOW!!!! and that wicket one (who brings sin) TOUCHETH HIM NOT.... WOW!!!!! Even though the WHOLE world lieth in sin (iiquity/wickedness) NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD... they LIETH IN PEACE AND ARE MADE FREE.... In HIS KINGDOM they RESTETH... SABBATH REST is BORN OF GOD..... Rest, God will live your life....
In God I rest, and I am no longer HEAVY LADEN, Jesus made me free, free from OLD SELF, FREE FROM SIN, FREE FOR MTHE WORLD, and now I made free INDEED! If you know what that means, you will know I know the WHOLE Truth, and the TRUTH (God's Word) made me free. .... FREE IN DEED! Every deed I do is made free from lust, sin, jealousy, pride....
What is the BOLDNESS God's children have? What did God give them to be BOLD... Oh the unwise world will judge it as PRIDE... becasue they are unwaise... But Jesus talks as loud today through His Children, as He did when HE WAS THE ONLY CHILD.... But all that is ONE WITH HIM, IS HIM... One Spirit, One Father, One Truth, ONE GOD AND FATHER WHO is above, in and through them ALL... And that Father is as Holy as He has ever been... that is why He makes them HOLY, for HIS GLORY....He wants it that way and He will keep doing it HIS WAY.. the PERFECT WAY.... He is God, and he needs not your approval.

To be born of God is to be inwardly renewed by the power of the Spirit of God ?
A man cannot act like the devil, and at the same time be a disciple of Christ Jesus ?

Are we free from sin ?

Or are we hypocrites and liers ?
Do we trully abideth in Him ?
Are we as they in the world ?
Or are we not of this world ?
To be born of God is to be inwardly renewed by the power of the Spirit of God ?
A man cannot act like the devil, and at the same time be a disciple of Christ Jesus ?

it's pretty late God bless you all I have a clear conscience. My desire is for God and my family. I try hard to live by example. If I act angry with wife, my children or a co-worker I apologize and admit when I'm wrong. I have no need to lie or steal. I can appreciate the beauty of a female but I don't fantasize about them. Sometimes I desire a little more than I have as a safety net but realize that God will provide in the amount he chooses. Sometimes I'm not as thankful as I should be but God sets me straight. Sin can be interpreted in different ways but I'm trying my best.
Him living in us, when we believe, yet not only in us through us, if we say we agree for this, self out of the way of the Lord's Holy Spirit work done through us, God getting all the credit is maturity
What an excellent post. We sin daily, yet Christ made it possible to have those sins removed daily. We are to pray daily for forgiveness, then forgive others daily...

in order to end this topic i will just say... 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8 i love to speak the truth of god gives me such joy
God has no sin, and lives in the believer, desiring to live through the believer, our self out of the way, no longer doing the works, God doing them through the believer in maturity.
And at this moment I have no sin, all taken away in Christ at the cross. And just take all thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, and possibly be sinless for that day, taking moment by moment, trusting God in God's finished work at the cross, moment by moment.

Is this nothing to confess for forgiveness from God? In other words if I sin again and can't predict the future as to whether I will or not and if I do, am I to go to God and ask God to forgive me again after I have received the forgiveness provided by God through Christ at the shed blood of the cross?
after one believes God and are growing up into God through Christ, does God view them as a sinner? or has God taken away the sin of the world in God's sight?

So it is not about one keeping themselves from sin and having no sin, it is about what Christ has (pas tense) done via the cross. where one passes from death to life since all are dead without belief
