It's not about easy or hard. It's about perception. I believe what the Bible says about it being possible. Before when I thought that it wasn't possible I struggled with all sorts of sin in my life for years. Then I realized I had to pour myself out to fill this vessel with the Holy Spirit. There is not room in here for the flesh and the Spirit. Don't hold onto the world its an anchor keeping your mind in the carnal.

Ezekiel 33 completely disagree with you.... No matter how righteous you lived if you sin you shall die for it... Eze 33:13... When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

Fortunately the opposite is also true.. Eze 33:14.
And to the sinner that REPENT (Stop sinning or do unrighteousness)... Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Rick Jesus said that if we are BORN OF GOD, or REBORN we will be like the wind, and NOT FLESH.... I remind myself how Jesus was with the Emaus men and the next moment he was GONE.... And how Jesus appeared IN A BODY, to the apostls although the windows and the door was closed. So how did he appear there, and then he aid they must give him food to eat for a ghost does not eat food....

We have to ask ourselves, WHAT CAN GOD DO with anything He wants to do it too? We cannot even turn one hair white or black, but God doe that all the time... So if we believe only what is possible for man how poor are we in faith? God says we taste the POWERS of heaven and to come....

My frind I remind myself how Paul was taken to third heaven, even he does not know if it was in body or spirit... I remind myself of Ezekiel was in his home when the LORD took him to see what goes on in the temple... Eze 8. So I am not so sure the flesh with the Spirit of God is the same as the flesh of the sinning man....

There are many wonderful things that God did with the bodies of the men of God. I will not venture to limit God to what we think is possible.... Matthew says ... For God ALL things are possible. And if God says we are a NEW creature and ALL the old has passed, I believe even the body is renewed. Looks the same, but are ALL new.... Does our body not replace every cell in the body all the time.... Yes it does, apparently abot 40 times in a lifetime, or even more... Not sure, nobody is sure, but God knows what He does, And I believe Him.

And I agree God says we should even discard the garment of sin.... I just take this verse very seriously.... If God says... Behold ALL things are made new, then ALL things are made new... Let Him decide what ALL things are, as long as I am also A NEW CREATURE....

so if you come to the point of seeing your flesh dead with Christ at the cross of, will you sin if you are dead to it?

And from God's perspective by God and through he does this for you as you said it is God not you, and the sooner you see this deeper, and by free choice tell God you want to know God over everything, just to know God not for any wisdom, or gain of anything here on earth, God knowing your desire will open up the full truth to you and you will be by God set free in him. Giving God all the glory and not self. Because by the operation of God you are by believing God with no ill motives are

New life in the Spirit of God, where no sin can ever occur, it takes trust that God did do this for you by belief in God. There is no credit for the self ever, even though it is taking credit all over the world in the guise of God, as if this is God doing this and that.
I used to be too busy with trying to obey and mixing that with trusting God. I was mixing flesh effort and Spirit of God, that turned out to be the Spirit of error, fooling me.
As Paul says

I know and see that you are learning this truth as it is so amazing for God to do what God has done for us, while we were yet sinners, (people that did not care about others only self) he came to give us this new life by the resurrection of the Son, so we can truthfully love as God does. this is what is manifested in you a heart transplant that permeates one's new life in God, here and now, and just can't help but to love as God does in 1 Cor. 13:4-13

If God has done this for you and it states he has, and no amount of self effort ever makes us perfect, then only God as you say you know does this. So please see the above and start from verse 1, read it in context, learn to get self efforts out of the way, it took me years to see what I just wrote and much aggravation in searching it out.

The people Zone wants to comment here is the SAINTS.... According to the Word of God they ae without sin, most holy, morally blameless and spiritually pure. Hagios as the Greek say. But they are not perfect YET. God appoints other men in office to do the perfecting of the SAINTS.

If a saint is the people without sin they has to be the people that completed the purification. God says those that have hope to be a child of God, PUFIFIETH HIMSELF EVEN AS HE IS PURE.... So saints did the complete purification, and now they needed to be perfected before they are made ONE WITH GOD... Ah the mystery of FAITH....Only God can reveal.... WOW! What a deep Bible we have.

so are the men appointed to perfect the saints perfect themselves?
how can something imperfect make something else perfect?
who are these men?
how many of them are there?
how did they become perfect?

because Christ is ALL in all.

there's nothing lacking in Him, and God counts you righteous by faith in HIS work.
He is PERFECT, WHOLE COMPLETE, NOTHING LACKING, HOLY BLAMELESS, PURE.

When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions.
