I don't know how many people remember me from last year, but my husband John had a heart attack in Nov. 2015, and it was so bad, he didn't come home until the end of June 2016. Despite all else that happened, as on Feb. 2016, his heart was working at 100%. (Major miracle from God.)

As of last week, we found out it's only working at 80%. He's getting a test on Thursday to see what's going on. We're nervous. And scared he'll have to go back into that hospital. (Horrible hospital. VA hospital, but all we can afford.) Equally as scared to find out they don't know why and he'll just have to live with this information.

His cardio isn't worry because he has no chest pain. Doesn't help. He NEVER had chest pain. (The heart attack either lasted four days, or he had one that Tuesday that escalated enough to cause a bigger one later.)

So prayers we find out what's wrong. And, if it be God's will (and our biggest hopes), the easiest fix possible, minus any hospital stay.

I am praying that the doctor's can easily resolve this condition, possibly with medication, and will not involve a lengthy hospitalization. Perhaps the problem will simply resolve itself. Through prayer, of course.

Father we pray for John, let you please touch and heal , let the problem be found, and diagnosed, yes Lord, please bless and heal John, and you be glorified, in Jesus Holy name, Amen!

Disconcerting results. This test was to check the valves they couldn't see well in the ultrasound -- his microvalve (the transplanted valve) and the aorta. Everything is fine. Ends up, this has nothing to do with why his heart isn't working 100%. So kind of good news, but the big question didn't get answered.

what's next?

medicine demands there be a "next" right?

Either he sees his cardio in April, as scheduled, or they call and he sees his cardio sooner.

Medicine may demand a next, but the VA demands the hurry-up-and-wait approach of chow line. :/
