I heard yesterday that I have been accepted into the army. I have to undergo a full medical next week. I am a bit nervous about it as I have to undress. Pray that I get a female doctor and that it goes well. I have never done one before. Thank you :)

You will absolutely get a female doctor so please rest your mind on this. This could be a tremendous opportunity for you and I pray for God's blessings and a successful enlistment and service to your country.

Having never been in the army I cannot say for sure, but I cannot imagine that undress equals to having to strip entirely naked. An IF it is the case then I am fairly certain they must provide same- sex doctors
 
Not sure about NZ, but in the US at MEPS, stripping completely naked was required. Males got male doctors, females got female doctors. We all got a very thorough look over, and being nude was required to check things over. I went to MEPS in 1995, so things may have changed, but I doubt it.

Lord we pray for myfathergodinheaven, let you bless her in this matter, let she get a female doctor, and the medical test go well and she be selected. Lord please be with her and help her , in Jesus loving name, Amen!

Trained with some of you New Zealanders while in the Army. You will be fine in the physical. I think that is the least of your worries :)

On a positive note, hubby was in the Navy for two years. He learned to stop being bashful when buck-naked really well. Strangely, it helped him greatly 50 years later when he stayed in a veteran's hospital. (I, on the other hand, kept getting embarrassed and irritated for him. lol)
 
Okay so I have had my medical. I passed it with flying colours. I did have a male doctor but when it came to undressing he got his nurse (female) in. It was fine and I was relaxed so praise the Lord I am going in July.
