Actually you had it with human beings - It is one where the singular is not quite a match but the plurals are distinguishable.

I think this one is not done: Lay

Stumped again...clearly my mind is nearly mush.

All I can think of is lay (person) lay (verb) and Leigh-ann (although pronounced lee-ann). So I'll have to concede to the dictionary.

Well after much ado and a lesson in the forms of lay I found ley (which is pronounced lee) is fun reading through the dictionary sometimes though.

Lay/lei (flowers) best I can do.

This one is a corrupted pronunciation so it may be out of bounds, it's too easy if I give the reverse.

Quit doubting yerself - you had it with the Hawaiian garland.

We covered Bizarre / Bizaar in posts #155/156

Here is one my search turned up nil: Base
Base/bays (as loose as bizarre) although more of a Z. Kind of works if you consider abasement. Valid?

Or I suppose the plural of Bae would fit correctly but incorrectly as boyfriend or girlfriend SHOULD be singular.

Edit: I realize this probably should be English roots so while I found something...its origin is dubious. This game is hard.
