Gays being put to death?

So I'll post the article when I get to a computer tomorrow. But apparently there is a bill being proposed that advertises gays having a bullet to the head. The bill is called the Sodomite Suppression Act, and apparantly calls for those who perform such acts be shot in the head. The bill is making its way to the California legislature. I'm kinda speechless and don't really know what to say to this. Thoughts?

yea that's harsh.....but I doubt it bruv .....I think gays will be killing us in the end with no remorse......even tho we don't agree I'm sure Christians wud never wish death on them but rather to be saved......mre33

I'm kinda preparing to see someone start throwing verses from the Old Testament out here that talks about the issue. Usually is the case when the topic of homosexuality is brought up.
 
It doesn't even come from legislators, rather a lawyer, who's trying to get it on the statewide ballot. I did a quick google search. The sole purpose, seems to me, is to stir up anger and division. No chance it goes anywhere.

I'm baffled as to how you could be "speechless"? This is clearly a horrible and nefarious bill. I highly doubt it will pass. I sure hope it doesn't. I wouldn't want to meet anyone that is excited and wishing that this passes. From a christian perspective, it also shouldn't pass (despite what some might cite in old testament) because the point should be in trying to keep these people alive as long as possible so to ensure enough time to hopefully save them. (For those that think it's wrong)

Sounds quite Biblical in an OT sort of way; but hardly a good way to make disciples; or to love one's enemies if you feel emnity to that particular sin. Certainly tot true to Jesus truth that all sins should be regarded alike.
 
A wacky lawyer, as a private citizen who does not hold any public office whatsoever, walked into a Secretary of State office in Orange County California and filed the paperwork for a ballot initiative that posits acts which are illegal and unconstitutional and would be immediately declared such in the HIGHLY unlikely event the required 365,000 signatures are obtained in the next 90 days to put it on the November ballot where it can be voted for and in the HIGHLY unlikely event it passes then immediately voided by the courts as unconstitutional.

It's going NOWHERE. It happens all the time. Wacky people go into Secretary of State offices and file ballot initiatives for everything under the sun and then some. I know as I've been in the Secretary of State office in Orange County California (Santa Ana) and watched these quacks do it.

Usually though it's the other way around. Usually, it's libtards attempting to use the government on behalf of some immoral group to harm, imprison, fine, etc... moral American citizens. This is actually an anomaly.

In fact, I wonder if it's not a false flag. Maybe he's a Democrat lawyer who thinks this would be a good way to harm the Republican party before the upcoming elections. Interesting. He better take it easy though because he could face disciplinary charges by the State Bar of California up to and including disbarment if he keeps it up.

I hope that the lawyer behind this will be judged and incarcerated for the rest of his life.

No, the guy who proposed the measure is quite serious to a point. The Snopes article explains this story in the OP is partly true.

If he's an attorney in good standing he's just tanked his career I'd imagine. It would never pass anyway. But maybe he's hoping to make a point in ultra-Left California.

I'm waiting for a similar bill, like shoot with impunity, illegals crossing our border and invading our nation. That'll be the next headline that gives someone their 15 minutes of fame.

Absolutely. It's amazing how fast we're sliding toward Hell and abandoning our moral principles more and more and all in the name of tolerating the most depraved of behaviors.

I saw a bumper sticker last year that sticks with me: God Save America from the perverted rising tide! Or else he's going to have to apologize for Sodom and Gomorrah.

When trans-afflicted men were given the right to violate the privacy of women in dressing rooms, locker rooms, and even at school age from K-grade to 12th, that's when this country officially lost its mind to the Devil.
