OK, I heard 90% of the ingredients in our prescription drugs are made in China.
China also manufactures drugs shipped to the USA. Something is very wrong here.

Correct. That is so fundamental that it should not even have to be said. Yet the feckless and stupid Western politicians betrayed their countries by making them rely on their enemies for essentials. The party bosses in the CCP must be ROTFL every day thinking about the stupid Gwailo.

Correct. All industries should have remained in North America and all PRODUCTIVE jobs would also have remained with them. While the prices of goods may not have been extremely cheap, the fact that the result was self-sufficiency should have been reason enough to pay those prices (as long as there was a free market and price gouging was addressed). Had a flat income tax of 10% on gross income (personal or corporate) prevailed with no exemptions and deductions, people could have easily handled the higher prices of domestic goods and produce. The import of foreign vehicles (and foreign workers) should have been severely restricted, and the quality standards for domestic vehicles should have been raised well above what was prevalent (when foreign vehicles exceeded the domestic standards).
There is more than enough coal, oil and gas in North America to satisfy domestic needs at a reasonable price. And if nuclear energy is properly harnessed and nuclear waste properly disposed of, then nuclear energy should have been promoted along with very high standards of safety. Prices would never have been controlled by OPEC, Russia, and Iran had the USA and Canada made up their minds to be energy independent fifty or more years ago.
And all the nonsense about global warming, climate change, and "green energy" should have been properly addressed. There was major fraud by "scientists" in creating panic and alarm over nothing. This issue was never dealt with when it began, and now the "Green Agenda" is destroying jobs and economies, while giving aid and comfort to the enemies. Putin is paying for his military adventures with money obtained from North America at the expense of taxpayers being gouged at the pumps.

Even though I am a Republican I think that I prefer Obama over Biden. At least Obama could say a complete sentence without great difficulty and confusion. Under Trump the USA was energy independent. Now this country is buying oil from Russia and contributing to their war effort against Ukraine.
