Interesting, how God, can sometimes talk to us, point out some unhealthy attitude. I got sick today, my back is killing me, but what hurts more is my soul, cause I feel guilty about it, about being sick and incapable of working and doing all the usual stuff. Like the sickness is the problem. But actual problem is my attitude to the sickness, myself, my worth.. I feel like I have to be able to doin...g everything, everytime, everywhere! As a matter of fact that defines me, gives me worth..How wrong is that, huh!... and here is the failure of that kind of thinking. When I get sick and incapable of doing things I am defining myself with, it's like I loose my identity and I hate myself for being sick and weak. I loose control, no actually, illusion of having control..

We're healthy people in which our health is constantly trying to be snatched away from us.

Don't beat yourself up for getting sick; beat the sickness up for Satan putting it on you :D
God certainly doesn't love you any less, and getting sick doesn't make you any less worthwhile. You're worth every second of work God put into making you :)

Maybe I don't understand your situation completely, but whatever guilt you have, pass it on to Jesus.
Whatever sickness you have, know that Jesus took care of it 2000 years ago on the cross (Isaiah 53:5 and Matthew 8:17).
You're redeemed from the curse of the law, and sickness is a curse (Deuteronomy 28:15-68, you'll find sickness listed as a curse of the law there, and in the OT sicknesses were never blessings) as Jesus became a curse for you (Galatians 3:13).
If you want to rid yourself of that sickness, tell it to get the heck out in Jesus' name (Mark 11:23)!
You can be victorious over this!

Also, I'd like to think it's Jesus who defines us, you know?
You, me, and every born again believer are all holy, saints, disciples, sanctified, etc. in Christ.
If we are in Christ, we can say we are the above. And we are in Christ!

Hope your day shines a bit brighter :D

Thanks, Kyouken! Still getting to know myself in Him, re-learning love :)

God bless You!

Same here; I'm not young but at the same time I am :P
It's a journey, alright, but at least the path is laid out for us, you know?
