The geological basis of a tsunami is that you have to have an underwater earthquake, preferably a normal or reverse thrust fault so that a huge volume of water displaces, creating a wave and shock.
The mid Atlantic Ridge is an area of some seismic activity, but not nearly as active as the Pacific Rim, where there have been the devastating tsunamis in Thailand and Japan in this century.
In order to predict a tsunami, you would need to predict an earthquake, and that is less likely on the east coast of the US. Actually predicting an earthquake at all is unpredictable. LOL
So Blain, I think you are getting yourself worked up about nothing. Stop worrying about prophecy, and start finding out what Jesus wants you to do in his plan for the spread of the gospel. This is idle speculation.
Always remember that prophets in the Old Testament could be stoned to death if the prophecy wasn't true 100% of the time. I think you are out of line with this type of scare tactics, and it shows a lack of understanding of both science (plate tectonics) and the Bible.
The dark areas are where the earthquakes are most frequent. The likelihood of a large tsunami on the east coast, based on these images, where earth quakes are most frequent, shows there is NOT going to be a tsunami.
And please don't go on with the "God told me so!" Try starting topics that are on the Bible. This is a Bible forum, not a false prophecy forum.
