I would like him to approach me as though I was his sister and that he treat me with respect as a sister. If a friendship occurs then we become friends and if it goes beyond that well then it's up to the two parties (me and that other person) involved though God's guidance. If you are just friends then stay friends and respect one another as brother and sister. I don't go looking for a relationship with any one and it would have to happen out of natural causes. It is the best way not to get hurt.
 
With MONEY!!!!! I used to believe men have a heart to offer but nope they dont! LOL So money is the next best replacement. That way I wont be around to hear them complain and they wont have me around to complain because I will be out shopping buying happiness!

I think if I had a guy say this to me, I'd be like, "WOW! This is GREAT, because I've always wanted to see a live pig roast... Except... I want only the highest quality pig available... say 'Oink, oink' a few times so I can see if you qualify..." :D
 
I'd like a guy to sneak up behind me and club me over the head, then drag me back to his cave by my hair. I like to stick with what works, you know. ;)

This doesn't really work, because if all you both want are to be friends from the beginning, then there is obviously an attraction problem. You both should immediately be thinking "I like this person a lot... I hope they will be my future bf/gf" not thinking "oh wow what a great person, I really hope I can enter into the friend zone!"
 
I agree dabear. But also if two people of the opposite sex spend enough time together, that person becomes more and more attractive to you. The body releases some sort of chemical in the brain (as my doctor friend vaguely told me), which causes this to happen. I'm sure we've all experienced this before. This is how two friends can become something more, and I guess it's how arranged marriages work out.
 
First, I would establish the ever-revealing eye contact. If she looks at me and doesnt quickly turn away I know she might be interested. Even if she does quickly turn away I will watch if she looks my my way again, because sometimes that first eye contact catches her off guard and she has to build her courage to look again. If a woman likes me she usually smiles when that second eye contact happens.

If its at a party or in a public gathering...
Then I walk over with a smile and a drink in my hand (diet coke w/lemon) and say "Hi there :) Having a good time?" She says "yes I am." I say, "can i get u a drink?" She says sure and then the small talk begins...(introductions, where u from, etc..)

If its anywhere else..
Then I ask her for directions to somewhere or if she knows where I can find something Im looking for.. "Hi. can you tell me where they sell all the baby stuff ? No, I dont have any kids...Im shopping for a birthday present for my niece." or... "Hi. would you happen to know where a good fast food place is around here?"

Ok, before you guys judge me...know that I wasnt ALWAYS a christian.

Ummmm wait a minute. If thats true, and I really hate to bring this up but why then are we not attracted to our siblings? Ew ew ew!
 
One time when i i was standing in line at McDonalds, actually this was just last year, This guy walks up to me and no joke, he looks me up and down and says, hey baby, i think were related ;)

I just about threw up in my mouth when he said that. Yeah, thats not how i like to be approached haha

No better place to pick up a date than a family reunion... (GROSS!)

I guess that's one advantage to being adopted and of a different race than everyone else in your family?

Maybe he was hoping that you'd be so disgusted and creeped out that you would get out of line so he could get his food faster :D

The responses in this thread have made me laugh :D once again, I thank you all for adding a smile to my day!

Like most of the women have said, just smile and approach her. If you think about what you want to say too much, it'll show and you wont be genuine. And girls like genuine. Just be yourself. If the girl can't take that, then YOU deserve better. Just say hi, introduce yourself and see where it goes from there. If she's nice, she'll come to the rescue and do her best to help create conversation. :) It takes 2 to tango, and every girl knows the polite way to respond to someone addressing them. Just do it -- if you crash and burn, so be it. You can't win em all :) :) just the right one!

I think you should be you unless its the chloroform psychotic you then it think thats a bad idea honestly just go up and introduce yourself after giving her that eye thing boys do have a cheeky smile go up and say hey im..... and go from there.
