I think it works both ways, with both marriage and singleness. I think the idea would be to first spiritualize your life as it is, seek God above anything else and just follow His leading.
@dimples: If you really want to get married tell God about it and think of ways you could get to meet a Christian man you could marry. Just sitting around and waiting may not be the best idea.

Yeah, I always cry and pray for it and sometimes it feels like God doesn't hear me so became discouraged sometimes. But then realized i have nothing without Him and i should put all my trust in Him that in time He will allow me to meet this man ive been waiting for all my life. Thanks by the way.

well 8 years maybe but technically speaking my last ex bf we broke up last 2010 we dont have much time together because he is a seafarer.
