You refuse to engage anyone who is on to your total lack of candor. Engaging with you is like trying to nail jello to the wall.

Well, I invite you to do the same as PT, on the appropriate thread for that discussion topic.
Which Lesson would you like to begin with? The website is <truthseekersfellowship.com>
Pick a lesson, and I will try to engage you on the corresponding thread if your goal is not nailing me to a wall.

I think the first lesson would be about Pride.

Second, about lying.

Third altering GOD'S word to fit your needs.

Forth being humble.

Fifth how to remove sins.

Sixth what happens when you receive the Holy Ghost.

LOL, your invintation to your websight to talk about you.

That is why I suggest pride as the first one.

The lessons would be for you, and I was hoping it wouldn't be a waste of time.

I invited you to this thread at your request, it was also about you and it was also a waste of time, well maybe not you were EXPOSED.

You were exposed (ping).

The preacher last Sunday described three kinds of people who enter through the narrow gate by believing in Jesus but stop growing. The first is those who believe in Jesus. The second has received Him and is religious but has added so much religious baggage that MUST be believe and done besides trusting Jesus and listening to Him, that it becomes hard to move forward and grow in grace and knowledge, because growing in grace and knowledge means accepting where we have picked up false ideas and dispensible practices and dropping those obsolete ideas and practices. The third gets distracted completely off the straight and narrow way into an ungodly lifestyle.

You might like to consider whether you are in the second group. You may be very religious and have collected and systematised "bible knowledge" into such a rigid and meticulously contrived form and, having invested so much time into doing so, you may be unwilling to remove pieces and whole chunks, and be only willing to add more to your system, one you have committed your life to assembling.
My comments re the first type of person should say, "The first is those who believe the gospel about Jesus but have not personally received Him."

You remind me of Pee Wee Herman.

That's you not me LOL.

Why do you do things, then say it's me who did them?

Because of YOU post #305 AND STILL NO ANSWERS??

No one can have an intlegent converstation with you if it's all about you.

This thread could have been done with 2 post, me asking you to back up what come out of your mouth and you either.

1. Back it up with scrpture or
2. REPENT and be a man and say your wrong then confess your eras to JESUS for him to forgive you.

But you chose to stay in your sins and play a long really long game of ping pong, end results nothing happened to GLORIFY JESUS just proved you to be a liar and your sins.

Such is the decree of Pope Ouch! and his fellow demeaner Eli.

As I said who you remind me of.

Point your fingers at anyone but yourself.

Do I read them the way they are or do you need to harmonize them for me?

Are you not getting enough oxygen? You remind me of that poem that begins with 'Come into my parlor said the spider to the fly'

Your understanding of the fulfillment of John's water baptism with the spiritual baptism by Jesus.
Is also correct and the book of Acts is not a place in the scripture to develop doctrine on baptism.

...
It is not surprising that the Book of Acts is so misunderstood. Churches have pretty much directed attention to the epistles at the expense of the Acts of the Apostles. The epistles do not instruct how to be born again they provide insight as to what is and is not acceptable behavior from born again believers. The problem is teaching proper behavior to people before they have even experienced the NT rebirth is putting the cart before the horse.

The book of Acts IS the place in scripture where the doctrine of water baptism is expanded upon and revealed as an essential element of the NT rebirth. Jesus prophesied concerning this,
"Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24: 46-47)

What Jesus prophesied began where He said it would: The message commanding repentance and remission of sin to be preached in His name was presented to the Jews in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost. No one was instructed to be baptized in the name of Jesus until this time.
"Repent and be baptized EVERYONE of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)

Again, as prophesied by Jesus, the same message was carried to those of other nations. (Acts 8:12-18; 10:43-48; 19:1-7) The accounts referenced confirm the same message pertains to all those living since Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. To suggest otherwise is foolish. Especially since scripture clearly states that it was upon being baptized that those who believed Peter's message were added to the church/body of Christ.

Acts 2:39-42
"For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
(No doubt, He is still calling sinners and will do so until Jesus returns)

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine..."

The Acts of the Apostles reveal those who believe and obey God will receive what He promises; they become born again of the water and the Spirit. This is what is meant by being saved THROUGH faith. (Eph. 2:8) One step of faith leads to another, and another. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." Rom 1:16-17

Being born again is not the end of one's journey it is just the beginning. As one of Paul's letters instructs the born again believer is to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling. (Php 2:12) Paul also made it clear that he had to keep his flesh in submission least after preaching to others he end up being a cast away. (1 Cor. 9:27)

The Book of Acts outlines how believers receive the NT rebirth. And it pertains to all those living until Jesus returns. Every believer must have their sins washed away in obedience to God's command of water baptism in the name of Jesus, (Acts 2:38, 22:16) receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Ghost, (Acts 2:4, 8:12-18, 10:43-48, 9:17-18, Rom. 8:9) confess Jesus to others, (Rom. 10:9) and maintain their faith in Jesus enduring trials until the end of their lives or until Jesu returns. (Matt. 24:13, Mark 13:13)

I guess the difference it sometimes pagans do and sometimes Christians do it, but it is the same thing.

It is recognized as "ecstatic utterances."

It is a learned behaviour.
You do realize tongues serve different purposes, do you not? Paul made this very clear in 1 Cor. 12 and 14. Surely, you don't think Paul was acting out a learned behaviour. Do you?

1 Cor 14:2
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

1 Cor 14:14-19
For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Notice Paul says that through unknown tongues people give thanks well but others just don't understand what is being said:
Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue."

Yes, and babbling is even learned by babies!
You may want to pray about this because speaking in tongues is not a learned behaviour. Those who allow God to communicate directly with their renewed spirit are well aware it is the Spirit who gives the utterance.

Genuine SIT, unlearned; pagan-like babbling, fake.

It is crazy, post # 312 trying to get him to answer 3 questions.

He won't, simply WILL NOT, answer questions and will go so far as to say no question was asked. I don't know what game it is he thinks he is playing.
