Greek/Hebrew vs. KJV Reading of....

Isn't that why people ask questions? They don't know, understand, or 'question' beliefs?
The consummation of the age isn't the time of his return?
Speaking of Matthew 24, as I read through the comments, I have to ponder how easily it is ignored.....
3) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
(how does one ignore what Christ was asked?_
4) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.............
(to be honest, a couple of comments here make me look again to vs. 4)

What point are you trying to make here?
Also - that should be "end of the age" not "end of the world".
Matt 24:3 (Young's Literal) And when he is sitting on the mount of the Olives, the disciples came near to him by himself, saying, 'Tell us, when shall these be? and what is the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age?'
I may have deleted my portion of the previous post but I agree I think they had in mind in Matt.24:3 and parallels "age" strongs #165 https://biblehub.com/interlinear/matthew/24.htm
Thats the point in that they were asking "something" they did not know or understand so it could be that they ask him about the sign of his coming meaning (Jewish thinking) as king over Israel,never to leave, all the nations bow down to the king/Israel ect. as they thought "carnal on earth". They did not see (first coming,second coming) like us but instead saw him as coming and never leaving.
So he had just said not one stone to be left on another about the same Temple they turned around and pointed at and said that it would be destroyed and that was "backward" of how they believed. When Mary saw him on the road she grabbed him John 20:17) when he ascended up (Acts 1:11) they gazed up tying to understand what was happening.
They kept seeing the King,Christ,Messiah who they thought would rule from Israel/temple Be arrested,put on trial beat,nailed to a cross pierced with a spear, pronounced dead,placed in a tomb ascend from the grave,walk among them for 40 days and then the Christ they believed would rule on earth just disappeared a second time into the heavens.
In Luke 24:21 look at Cleopas wording "we trusted BUT" that is the one they thought was the one to redeem Israel just got beat and killed instead. Seethe apostles reaction in Luke 24:37 ? they thought they had seen a spirit. When Mary said she went to the tomb and saw it empty and then Jesus appeared to them did they believe it or disbelieve it,who's doubting Thomas? Or else they could have ask Jesus in Matthew 24:3 about his second coming but then the things they did and ask/said show that they seem to believe he wasn't suppose to die and he was suppose to rule from the very stone temple he had said would be destroyed.
Age is a very important thing to look at not only in Matthew 24:3 but also in Matthew 12:32, Luke 18:30 in that "one age" is to end and "another age" is to begin. So for instance when will this age end(Matthew 24:3) depends on the one they saw themselves in at the time they ask Jesus. So the one they saw themselves in was the one where the gentiles ruled over them(four beast) and the one they saw as coming after that one ended was the next(to them) where Israel is restored (Acts 1:6) and so based on what they ask him or said in all these scriptures(left some out) they seem to be asking about his one and only coming(that they saw) and not his second coming they understood afterwards.
But which now is it? Bare in mind that there is a sin that wont be forgiven in the age the apostles were in nor the one afteward(age to come) so for instance if the one the deciples ask about ended in say ad70 as some say and the next age began remember that Jesus said that it would not be forgiven even in the next so there is also an unforgivable sin even in the one that follows the one they ask about in Matthew 24:3. The point is though that the beast and false prophet are judged before the Mill. Revelation 19:20 and the devil and Gog Magog ect. after it Revelation 20:7-15
In my studies I have discovered, for myself anyway, that having read the Word inHebrew I see in the New and Old Testament that Jesus, Yeshua, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are One.
Lord in the Word most times may be translated as Yahweh (Self-Existing), Yeshua is the "Help of Yahweh," and the Holy Spirit is the Humble Presence, yet Great, that we learn of whenever we become aware of anything, that is anything revealed to us in our hearig the Word.
Greek is definitely a rech language, as are all when properly studied, but Hebrew does have the strong inclination of reveling k so many mysteries.
Having shared the It is only the Holy Spirit Who teaches us all, and it is not necessary to read in Hebrew, yet it is added blessing, for me anyway.

I have not clamed to be an authority on Hebrerw, only that I hae read tehWord in Hebrew. I read it with lots of hlps and it took me ten times lnger than my normal read through in other languages.
I stopped reading in Hebrew when my vision failed to the exten wheree I could not see the diacritical marks well. Also I read with definitions at a click.
I am not so astute as to converse in transliteration but if yo wish you could put your message in actual Hebrew and I will put it through my processing. All blessings in Jesus, Yeshua...
My point is.....I accept what Christ was asked and what He answered.
He was speaking of the end of time......when the Eastern Sky splits and when the last Trump sounds, and He returns in clouds of Glory to claim His Church and THEN the Judgement will begin.
And, in my opinion, this is also what Paul had in mind when he was speaking to the Romans.......
These are my thoughts/opinions........and you are entitled to yours.....but, as with mine, yours are JUST your thoughts/opinions.

I am the first to say I am by no means a source of scholastic achievement in Hebrew, but I certainly enjoy and enjoyed reading it while yet able to make out the characters.
Believe it or not, I could tuch type in Hebrew, but I had not way to truly practice. I still find most of the letters of teh alfbet without having to consult aything, but not all any more.

lol, your better at it than me then I make a lot of mistakes just typing in English I notice when re reading my post (mis spelled words lol) I tried to use the new cell phones but there too small for me to see. I went to the 9th grade(complete school when I was young) so most of what I wrote I was not sure if I conveyed it in English correctly (things like sapah,lips in Hebrew but I think in English it should be more closely saphah or safah) not sure lol...
I believe when one is transliterating, it is an individual method, though we do eventually boil down to using the same letter combinations for sounds not in our own alfbet.
I use ch for the chet soundor anachnu etc. My actual study in Hebrew was Biblical, but I picked up some modern Hebrew during a six month stay on a Kibbutz.......way back when.. Shalom ubracha........
Gam alecha shalom ve lyla tov......... (I really am going to get in over my head.) Funny how reading what I have read dozens of times in Hebrew, the Word, all comes easy, but chatting is not yet in my repetoire..lol. You be blessed always in Yeshua...j
