I'm Pete, live in Tamap, FL...I decided to join Christian Chat to chat with others, imput comments and maybe build some friendships.

About me;

I moved to Tampa from Portland, OR after living in Portland for 12 years...seeing a once beautiful city become so corrupt and riddled with crime, I thought it was time to move to the law and order state of Florida, under the leadership of DeSantis. Much happier here.

I was born and raised in Germany, moved to the United States in 1988...father was US Army and my mom is German. I moved around ALOT and being an only child, safe to say I did not have any friends, the price you pay for being an Army brat.

So that's me in a nutshell...looking forward to getting to know some people. Enjoy!

We relocated from Clearwater, Florida to NE Tennessee a few years ago. Lived there 6 years. Before that in the metro Orlando area, Apopka, for 20 years.

I was born in Germany too in 1955. Lived there for only 9 months. When my dad got out of the Air Force we relocated to Detroit. Spent my childhood there in a suburb of Detroit.

You are right about the state of Florida. It is very much a law-and-order state. So is Tennessee. I would never care to live in a Blue state.

Hi Aedomus, nice to meet you and welcome to the fellowship here at CC! I'm in SoCal and CA , what's left after the fires that start like clockwork each year, see it as a purple state. The worldwide TBN Christian Network blossomed from here and Pastor Greg Laurie head of Harvest Christian Fellowship is 5 minutes from us. On July 20 at the Angel Stadium 50,000 people packed it in for the Harvest Crusade where he preached. Singers incl Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Brooke Ligertwood and Harvest Singers. That night 3,500 people came down onto the field to get saved and thousands got saved online as well. Glad you're back, God bless & keep you🙏✝🔯
