you don't think the abnormally long periods of darkness, utter isolation, brutal wilderness & extreme cold have anything to do with that? ;)

LOL!!! Its not THAT bad, media goes to extremes to promote itself and this is a good example.

Sure it gets cold and dark and it can be considered isolated just not by Alaskans, most people i guess consider Alaska a freak state because of its location but the metropolitan are is pretty much just like any other in the US.

I dunno, after spending 35 yrs there i cant remember one instance where i considered a eternity in hell just for a change of local.

i've been listening to a pastor from Alaska, a series on Romans that is something like 1,000 sermons long and ongoing. i skipped who knows how many years but i've listened to two years worth on Romans 5:12-14, and the first couple years of Romans 9 so far. still several more years of catching up to do.

i'm quite enjoying it, and blessed :)

1,000 sermons????

I thought my pastor had stretched Romans as far as possible when it took him about two years (roughly 100 sermons) to get through Romans.

well, i was exaggerating a little bit, but after listening for a while, i get the impression that in the 30-odd years he's been preaching, he may not have ever preached on anything but the gospel as presented in Romans.

the church's website right now hosts a Romans series that started in 2010 and is probably not even halfway through, though.
so i wasn't exaggerating that much

Well....when you study through a book thoroughly it takes a while.....I forget which Psalm...Maybe Psalm 115, the first time I remember looking at 185 verses just to cover verse 1......and no rabbits were involved if you get the drift......

I know that last stuff can mess with the mind and quite often leads to a trip to the hospital
after hollering "hey everybody, watch this"!

Romans is fascinating reading, studying - so many doors to peek into and learn
something brand-new...

I think if you pronounce HARP backwards, it will sound a lot like
PRAY...:)

Here is an interview with Governor Ventura

Well, he's a clueless liberal... who cares what he thinks?... he don't know nuthin...

HAARP effects people on some psychological level because i use to live in AK and when i was on a plane to the lower 48, at some point some of my ADHD/bipolar symptoms were lessened.

It was like a pressure taken off of my brain.

Really? Seriously???

You are a Christian and you have not yet learned the Jesus took sickness / disease upon Himself so you wouldn't have to have it?... you must be a baby Christian yet...

In Mark 11:23,24 Jesus said whosoever could speak to the mountain (things bigger than we can handle personally) and tell it to be removed... based on 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-5, Proverbs 4:20-23, Exodus 15:26, and Exodus 23:24-26... WHY have you not taken authority over this garbage (you have received in error as being true) and commanded it to get out of your life???

Another way satan deceives is by getting people to go to doctors where they can be indoctrinated and medicated!

Citizens of the Kingdom of God should go to the Lord Jesus for all their needs... not the arm of the flesh and the wisdom of blind mankind!

Theres also a abnormally high rate of suicide and domestic violence in AK which i believe is attributed to HAARP.

Not among those Christians who know their authority in Christ, purchased by the shed Blood of Jesus who know how to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God! (2 Corinthians 10:5)

You're not suggesting Christians have no defense against satan's efforts to control people's minds are ya???

What do they teach about Romans?

That they came from a place call "Rome"

well, here's some actual statistical data on ADHD prevalence ((by percentage of population)) in the USA.

ADHD.jpg

looks like inference from your personal anecdote doesn't fit well with facts?
i mean, if it were true, you'd think states closer to AK ((and obviously AK itself)) would have the higher percentages. instead of reality = almost exactly the opposite.

don't worry tho; "
not fitting well with facts" is pretty much par for the course in the conspiracy section . . .

No - your data doesn't fit with the facts - as stated by imfinallyfree. He did not say that HAARP gave people ADHD. He said that he thought it must have a psychological effect on people -- because, he felt that his ADHD symptoms "lessened" as he got further away from his home in Alaska.

This same 'effect' might also 'affect' other people who do not have ADHD.

Your data has nothing [ directly ] to do with what imfinallyfree is saying.

Your data is based on propensity-of-occurance in a particular area over a long period of time.

His data is based on real-time-changes while traversing a distance over a short period of time.

He did not 'infer' any connection between HAARP and occurance-of-ADHD.

He did 'infer' a connection between distance-from-HAARP [ antennas ] and effect-on-human-brain.

oh Gary.

the flatline you love so much affects your comprehension, i fear.
or maybe that's the other way around?
the logic is simple, and sound, and as follows:

anecdote:
as i got further from AK i felt less ADHD symptoms

inference:

ADHD symptoms are correlated directly with distance from AK

conjecture:
HAARP causes ADHD symptoms

hypothesis:

prevalence of ADHD symptoms should be correlated directly with distance from AK

data:

prevalence of ADHD symptoms are actually closer to being inversely proportional to distance from AK / HAARP

conclusion:
reject hypothesis. inference drawn from this articular personal anecdote is not good for forecasting.

is that easier to understand?
or do i need to draw it on a frisbee?
;)
