Perfect biblically doesn't mean without flaw or error, but mature. And God is always at work in the believer, willing and doing of His good pleasure...Philippians 2:13. We are not to resist this work, but work it out into our lives...Philippians 2:12, and with patience endure the trials of life given that these trials are perfecting us...James 1:4.

“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect:
but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.”

often the bible is teaching us the right frame of mind to have about things and speaks rather straight forward
christians are disciples or “ believers in and followers of “ Jesus and his teachings “ this is literally what a “ Christian “ is a “disciple “ of Jesus this term means follower of Paul is teaching there in those passages the correct frame of mind for a disciple always a follower pursuing perfection but never quite attaining to it
one day we will all be glorified like Christ until then we’re meant to learn from and follow him straining ahead towards the goal reaching forth into What’s just beyond us becoming more like him as we progress through life by faith but eventually he will complete us

When God justifies a person, it is God who DEEMS that person to be as righteous as Christ. This is called "imputed righteousness". And your New Birth enables you to obey God and Christ.
But you and I will be perfected at the Resurrection/Rapture. In the interim God has given us His Holy Spirit, so that we will "walk in the Spirit" and avoid all sin and evil by the power of the Spirit, and the power of the Word of God.
I am DEEMED Perfect by The LORD because my imperfections are covered by the Atoning Blood of the LORD Jesus... It is Good to struggle to better yourself.. But remember the ultimate Victory has been won by the Work of the LORD Jesus Not by us.. All Glory praise and any boasting is for the LORD Jesus. Not us..

Why do you think God planned the Resurrection/Rapture? So study 1 Corinthians 15, and forget about all your other ideas. Christ has a glorified resurrection body, and so will every saint.
All Christians can consciously avoid all sin. Including you. So in fact I can consciously avoid all sin, and all Christians can do the same.
The Bible clearly spells out what is sin and what is righteousness. The conscience also makes right and wrong perfectly clear. The Holy Spirit also tells us what is sin and what is righteousness.
But that does not mean that any of us can always do what is right, and there are also sins of omission. So in the end we must never say that we have no sin. See 1 John 1 and 2.
