I like to cook from scratch and sometimes eating Paleo style doesn't work for our family. I will try to add more meals to be Paleo that I can though. We have kids and my husband is a vegetarian. No grains is not easy to do all the time. Especially since one doesn't eat meat and we have kids. Cutting carbs in general is a goal as well as the sugar. I can tell how much better I feel with the right kind of carbs and little sugar, that stuff is really poison. Thank you for the well wishes!

I too have so much research under my belt and I see a Holistic M.D. who guides me. I see a Chiro that practices the Cox technique. No alignments but movement and mobility of the spine. I used to have one that did the works and it was great but I can't go there anymore. I would like alignment as well as the mobility so I am considering splitting the visits to get both done. As for medicine, I only take one medicine. I do however take enough supplements to fill my stomach as a meal!
Can't take iodine it makes the symptoms worse. I take Cod liver oil, Vitamin C, both in high doses for the antioxidant effect, selenium, probiotics, mineral drops, magnesium, zinc and sometimes iron. As well as digestive enzymes. All of course under doctors direction.
I am going to try acupuncture next week!
As for diet, I would love to be a vegetarian one day but I think that is not feasible with this disease.
