Simply put, they are a bunch of computer terrorists, who bully people they don't like into doing what they think is the right thing. Through using the computer, they release SS numbers, phone numbers, and information about people they think are in the wrong.
And they are in the wrong for doing it, and they know it, or they would show their true faces, but, then they would probably be killed, and probably deserve it.

They're a group of highly-skilled hackers who use their hacking skills to expose people.

What do you think the "Anonymous" group; in their thoughts, and concepts have wrong? What, if any, of their campaign proceedings could have a real impact toward God if used correctly? Can Christians adopt the idea "as is?" Can we see a theocratically lead impact in way of a voice heard here, if we agreed to adopt their guise? If it were possible what, then, would be the point of that heard voice? What real change might it produce? Or, how much can God use a thing like that, with a faithful base attached to it, to change individuals toward Himself?? Any?!?? Or is this just the wrong tree to climb? I am neither in favor of this nor do I condemn it's desire for positive change. But, by way of God's Children following Christ Jesus and His Word and His will, my question is to think what is God's ways we can both show our vote for our Nation to be godly and not individualistic, and to event change by faith in a Christ who must lead such an effort in the wake of an Original Sin based Government?? Can a design like this be a godly way? Or is this dangerous territory and biblically unsound? I only lay out the question.....what say you?
I personally do not adopt their idea because it is human reason based. But the question of interest is could a program such as this give way to a godly impact? I do not think that is what God has in mind but I ponder the thought to know why not.

Not sure if trolling. In case you aren't, anonymous isn't an organized group. There is no "official" anonymous anything. All of anon's projects are voluntary and there is no membership. For instance, certain people who identify as being a part of "Anonymous" can be circulating child porn in the deep web while another group of people who identify as being part of "Anonymous" could be working together to expose child porn rings in the deep web.
We are a part of anonymous if we choose to be. It's not really a group of ideals, but rather a status of being "untouchable" to those who oppose you.
Now you'll find things that Anon is pretty uniformly against such as censorship, government corruption, and Scientology, but other than that, everything is up in the air.

So it's ok if they only out racists? How about if a different group outed Christians who are secretly hiding in the Ukrane, or China, would you be ok with that too?

Then they would be bad. Sometimes the same actions that are sweet justice can also be evil if applied to a different scenareo. That's like saying "we shouldn't put rapists in prison! What if we put Christians in prisons too?" That doesn't mean that it's ok to let pedophiles walk around or make us evil for locking them up, because we AREN'T putting Christians in prison. Anonymous AREN'T outing Christians in other countries. Anon are anything but terrorists. You can't trust your government to serve justice (or for anything else) while they are committing international crimes on the daily.

Where do you think whistle-blowers like Wikileaks gets its info from? disgruntled soldiers because they are so moral? of course not. They wear masks because the Church of Scientology owns entire cities like Clearwater FL and the cops in these cities will rough up people trying to expose Scientology (look it up). They wear masks because our "justice" system is corrupt and heroes get arrested for being heroes.
Why do you think fictional characters with hidden identities ring so hard with Americans? Because Americans want justice that the government can't provide. The people want batman to expose the corruption of Gotham City's police deparment. The people want Spiderman to catch the cold blooded killer who got off on a technicality. The people want Anonymous to hack and financially destroy ISIS (the project is already underway).
So you're saying that we should let rapists and killers walk free and not imprison them, because God is the sole bringer of justice and not us?
Oh not at all, i'd remove all sexual organs from rapists, and put hangings on pay per view television for killers and child molesters. i'm saying God will bring final justice, burning forever is a stiff sentence.
