I have been very blessed with good health, and very careful to take care of it all my life. In fact, I think I might have been rather proud of the fact that I was so good at keeping myself healthy, which might be some of the reason God is gently reminding me that it is a gift from Him and not just something to take for granted and take credit for.

I've had massive migraine like headaches on and off for a couple of months now, (don't know what's causing them); and yesterday for no apparent reason my knee started really hurting like I'd sprained it or torn something, but I don't remember injuring it! So please pray that both of those things would get better, and also that I would be able to take some time to sit down today and rest my knee...I hate having to do that when I'm busy! Thanks everyone!

Praying.
If you've been really busy it could be just stress (tension) displaying in a weird way.

Get it checked if you get a fever or the knee starts feeling warm though :)

hugs

Praying for God to address these issues. I know full well how pain can become debilitating that affects the quality of life.

No, weather has been pretty steady. And in my case, caffeine would probably be detrimental lol, but I've been taking some ibuprofen as necessary for the headaches, even though I hate to. Sometimes ya just need to function!

Praying.

Mentally, I've been very relaxed and calm. Physically there is a lot of stress on my body, but not an unhealthy amount and nothing unusual. So, I'm puzzled :). But I'm confident God will make it clear to me what will help.

Praying for you sister. It does sound a bit odd. You should probably get the migraines checked out if you can. Hope you feel better soon.

I used to get awful headaches (and nausea). I believe the cause was that my blood sugar got too low on occasion. I eat better now and haven't had a headache for years. (Remember that the proper way to keep one's blood sugar up isn't by eating a lot of sweets.)

I have some siblings with diabetes; I don't think the headaches are caused by sugar lows.

How much water have you been drinking? If you don't have enough water that will cause those issues

I haven't probably been drinking enough in the last week or two, but that shouldn't be causing the headaches which have been on and off for several months. I'm wondering if they might have to do with my new glasses, usually a new prescription will cause me some adjustment pains for a week or two, but this has gone on much longer than usual if that is the case.

praying for you, sweetheart.

migraines are vascular headaches, and caffeine is a vasoconsrictor. that's why Demi suggested it.
i used to try to manage migraines with an NSAID and coffee, and found if i hit it right away it helped.

not saying drink coffee, just explaining it (i hope! lol)

may the Lord help you. ♥

I did not know that about migraines. Good to know :). But I don't think my headaches are migraines, which is why I said migraine like. They act a like migraines, (and they sure are debilitating like a migraine) but they don't seem to have the same causes.
