"Good to meet you. I can relate to that lifestyle. I grew up on a small homestead. Even after spending many years teaching, I've never lost my appreciation for country living.
These days, I'm retired in a small Midwestern town, and I find that the quiet pace of rural life leaves plenty of room for prayer, study, and reflection.
There's something refreshing about stepping outside in the morning and being reminded of God's handiwork rather than the noise of the city.
I'm here for much the same reason as you: to meet fellow believers, encourage one another, and have thoughtful conversations about faith, Scripture, and the Christian life." Welcome and may God bless

Thank you for your words. I am very new at being in a chat/forum and rather an introvert so I am going slow at this. I agree, I love the peace and quiet, I draw nearer to Jesus.
